While Chimney Genie installs a full line of wood burning stoves, custom fireplaces and new chimney's the most common situation we come across is that of poorly maintained and functioning chimneys. With any new installation or wood burning stove we recommend a complete inspection of the existing chimney work.
Chimney liners are one of the most important features of the chimney and are critically important due to the fact that their chief function is to protect your chimney and therefore your home. They act as a protector and safety element. Chimney Genie is Long Island's chimney liner installations specialist.
A boiler's primary function is to heat the water within the system, to provide hot water and heat to a structure. Long Island and Queens homes that use gas or oil energy to feed its boiler system must also have a boiler chimney. Some homes also have the same kind of chimneys for appliances, such as stoves and ovens.
In simple terms, a chimney cap is just what it sounds like; it is a form of a cap, which covers the top of your chimney. Typically, chimney caps are made from either copper or steel because they can withstand the heat that comes from the chimney, as well as endure the harsh beatings of Mother Nature.

There was a foul smell coming from the chimney. I’m not sure what it was, but I’m getting worried for my family. So I had to call in the professionals at Chimney Genie to do what they do best and just as I expected, a dead squirrel was found at my chimney. Good thing the people at Chimney Repair Experts are fast and reliable. Thank you, I highly recommend you!

Investing in a carbon monoxide detector is a good investment since I have a chimney. The other day, the CO levels went through the roof. It gave me a sign my chimney is experiencing a blockage. I had to call in the pros to solve my problems on this one. Luckily, Chimney Genie was quick to respond. Thanks, guys!

I had anew furnace installed and they asked me if my chimney had a liner and i honestly didn't know what they were talking about. I hit up Chimney Genie right away and after they responded we arranged for an appointment. The next thing I know, I was getting my chimney liner installed and now I'm enjoying my new furnace.

My fireplace needed a do over after a storm hit our area. It was actually a last minute decision to check Chimney Genie as most of the guys we called were either too busy or decided not to take the job when they saw our fireplace. These guys however took the job without hesitation and even went back a couple of time to really assess the damage. Now it's as good as new!
