These guys are top notch! So impressed with the customer service from the first phone call with Linnea to the job finish. We had existing chimney for fireplace. We wanted to add wood burning stove. These guys knew exactly what to do and did it to perfection. They had to expand the existing chimney and construct a new one for the stove.
So now we have a double chimney and it couldn't look any better. We were expecting it to not match up considering the existing chimney was so old, but we were wrong. They matched the existing to the new pretty much identical! We are so impressed. On top of the beautiful work done, the work was done by professional, courtesy and considerate work crew (Pete, Austin, Zack and Keith).

All chimneys, whether connected to a fireplace, wood stove, oil burner, or gas burner should be cleaned and inspected regularly. Fireplace and wood burning stove chimneys develop a coating of creosote inside the smoke chamber and flue system. This will become a fire hazard if not removed. Creosote will go through a chemical transformation if left undisturbed and become a thick shiny glazing that is very difficult to remove.
