The primary goals of our Salon Level System within Refined Beauty is to provide a career path of growth and achievement for team members and to offer several options for our guests to meet their diverse needs when it comes to salon services. Guests may choose the stylist/level that compliments their requests from skill set to education, and budget.
The owner, Jennifer Alvarez, has had the opportunity to study and teach for the beauty industry nationally and globally. In 2016, she opened Refined Beauty and now can help other artists in the industry by developing their skills and impact more people in the community through beauty services. The way you look can affect how you feel.
Ask our Licensed Professionals to enhance your signature facial by creating a customized experience for more detailed solutions to dull, aging, or acne skin challenges. Facial and body waxing provides smoother and longer-lasting results by removing the hair directly from the root. Shaving cuts the hair right below the skin's surface, giving you a prickly feeling where you feel like you need to shave daily.

Refined Beauty is a teaching salon. This means all of our licensed Professionals go through a six month advance training program of weekly training to fast track their career growth so that they have the right tools and techniques to create beautiful results using The Refined Beauty Way. Where do I even begin! The ladies of Refined Beauty made me feel so special through every step of my wedding planning. Jessica being extremely helpful through all of my questions and gave her honest opinion always. I felt like a princess during my hair/makeup trial and then felt like a queen during my wedding day. I’ll continue to go to them post wedding also for my hair and spray tan! If I could rate Refined Beauty 100/10 I would!

I booked Refined beauty for my wedding and am so glad that I did! Jennifer was absolutely fabulous, she listened to every single change I wanted to make and walked me through the entire process so I felt extremely confident in what was happening. As someone who has a skin tone that makeup artists seemed to have trouble matching, Jennifer made me… and my bridal party look extremely natural which was much appreciated! Ben did a terrific job with my bridal party hair too. The price is well worth the service and I cannot recommend Refined Beauty enough for future brides!

Highly recommend Refined Beauty for your wedding hair and makeup services! When researching vendors, I always check out reviews and their website. Refined Beauty’s website literally answered all my initial… vendor questions and was SO informative. Jennifer was super attentive and checked up on me throughout the planning process. I had the pleasure of meeting all 3 people who were doing the hair and makeup for myself and wedding party. Jessica did my wedding hair and makeup. I get my eyelash extensions done with Kikki and I absolutely love her and her work! Everyone who works there is always super friendly and welcoming, and the salon itself is really cute and cozy. Kikki takes the time to ask me what kind of look I'm going for/what I like and then creates the perfect set of lashes each time. I'll never go to another salon for my lashes!

The first pic is the pic that was shown to the stylist (who NEVER referred back to the picture the entire time she was working on my daughter). The rest of the unfiltered pics show the job that was done by Janet. My daughter entered the salon with unhighlighted light brown hair (a blank canvas). The owner says my daughter didn’t communicate what she wanted properly. Janet had texted me earlier in the day to tell my daughter to come in 45 minutes later because she was running behind… we later found out she was getting her own hair done and that’s why she was running behind… clearly, Janet

I live in loves park, IL, and I always commute to Naperville refined beauty to get my hair done! The staff is friendly and professional, and they always ask me if I’m happy with my services before I leave! I love how Ben has worked wonders on my hair! From dark brown to a beautiful silver, I always receive compliments on my hair 💛 I strongly believe the service I receive at refined beauty is worth the hour and a half commute.
