I had box dyed my hair jet black for a good 3 years since 2016. And it was time for a change. I knew it would be a process and I was already expecting my hair to come out orange. BUT Laura assured me it would not come out orange! And IT DIDNT! After a full 9 hours at the salon she gave me the hair color I wanted and we achieved it! She did not let me walk out of that salon not being satisfied. She took so many precautions to make sure I wouldn't go bald! NO HAIR fell out, I don't know what kind of products she used but man I'm sure they were all great quality! My hair looks and feels

Laura gave me the most amazing haircut! I originally had thought I might go short, maybe bangs, wasn't sure; so I asked Laura for her opinion. She recommended not to do bangs and not to go too short, but instead to trim a bit off and layer around the shape of my face. So glad I consulted with Laura. The style is fun, fresh and edgy, and best of all, something I'm totally comfortable with. Laura is the best!

I really like this place.
I found this place sort of on accident. My regular hair dresser at the salon I normally frequented was out on maternity leave, and my hair was starting to look like someone had sprinkled Halloween spider webs through it, and I needed someone fast. I was browsing around and found decent reviews on this one, so in I went.
I've been back a few times since. I want to comment on a couple things that made this place stand out to me:
1. Laura, who is the owners, is extremely nice, attentive and you can tell she is very skilled at her craft. She is realistic and accommodating

Hair Experts is amazing they have the best service, best team, and overall you will always have an experience there. I've been a client of Laura's since I was in High School and she is still incredible, patient and all around the best. I travel from Chicago to Hair Experts b/c Its the place to be. I recommend everyone I know to Hair Experts you get the same service from every stylist & beyond satisfied!

Visited Hair Experts for the first time today for my 15 year old sister with the hope that she would finally agree to get a good 5 inches of frizzy, dead ends taken off. I went in secretly praying that if I took her to an actual salon she would just get something...anything...trimmed off. We ended up with an Olaplex treatment, a full color job (brown to red) and an amazing cut. And this was after I failed to fully book my appointment when I did it online last night. They were so nice, and took her in without any problem. Because I failed to actually finalize making the appointment, she had 3 people

I needed a blowdry and style for a wedding and decided to try out Hair Experts. It is a casual environment, not as low-key as a Supercuts but a lot more welcoming than a super high-end salon.
My only complaint: my appointment was scheduled at 9:15 am, and when I arrived a little before then, the nice ladies at the counter informed me that my scheduled stylist said I was late for my appointment, which she claimed was scheduled at 9:00. After checking the confirmation email on my phone, and after they checked the schedule on the computer, we confirmed my appointment WAS at 9:15 am. One of the other

After deciding to finally cut ties with my previous stylist-very co-dependent relationship, I was in search of a new salon. After hearing a couple good reviews of Hair Experts, I made an appointment with Danielle. I couldn't have been more pleased with her! She is very professional, yet friendly, attentive and listens to what I want done...not asking for a trim and walking away with a pixie cut.

This is, BY FAR, the best hair salon I have ever been to. I wouldn't even call it a salon, but rather a fun place to hang out and chat while having legitimate experts cut, color, and style your hair. Laura, the owner, is amazing. I have never had someone listen to me so closely and just GET it. I showed her a picture and then explained my version and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted. Wonderful establishment, fantastic people, I think I have finally found a place I can call "my place". Thank you!

Tried this place for the first time recently. Went to Laura who is the owner. She seemed pre-occupied when I got there. Then of course when I left she got real friendly hoping I would come back. She did not use a cape to wash may hair. She was real messy and the back of my shirt got wet. She ended up styling my hair how she wanted to instead of listening to what I wanted. The cut itself was ok but the overall experience was what she thought was best, not what the client wanted. Not going back.

I saw this salon had two good reviews and a coupon on their site so i decided to try them out. I got a pretty basic haircut- trim with long layers, so it should have been easy. The bottom was pretty even, but the layers were super jacked up. Also, they cut my hair dry which i really dont like. I think long layers are pretty basic and a professional should be able to do them so i was really unhappy. I won't be going back, but i would like to say that a haircut does depend on the person cutting your hair and there may be some decent hair dressers in there, I just didn't get a good one.

I found Hair Experts in Lombard through a friend at work, and they're terrific. Laurie took plenty of time to understand what I was looking for, and she really delivered. The space is very nice, clean, and modern. And everyone is very nice. The prices are very reasonable.
This is a great option if you're tired of the same old cheap chains that are all over the suburbs, and you don't want to pay the steep prices at some shopping mall. Recommended.

Tried this salon first time today. I couldn't be happier. I have a really hard time finding a good colorist because all of my family are red-heads except me but I pull so much red. Laura the owner, along w Rudy my stylist figured out a wonderful solution that has given me exactly the color I wanted! In one visit! I couldnt be happier. And with the more than reasonable prices, I'll be a long term customer for sure! Heck, I even forgot my ipad there and instead of making a trip back the owner dropped it off for me! Beat that! It's not about super high end location or 10,000
