Services
Not so long ago, the McKissick Center was an abandoned school. Established in July of 2015, it now serves as the home of Pickens County Meals on Wheels and provides a community focal point that exclusively focuses on the three leading threats of aging: hunger, isolation and loss of independence.

The overarching vision is to use the venue to provide direct programs and services to our senior neighbors across Pickens County as well as operate a social-enterprise that will support our mission all year long.Book your event here to ensure hundereds of seniors can live the nourished lives they deserve.
The McKissick Center is a state of the art facility that provides an extraordinary space for company parties, fundraisers, community events and more. Let us help make your next corporate event simple and easy. We can provide a turnkey event for corporate clients including the coordination of layout, food, and bar.
We can hold the space for 72 hours, and if we do not hear back from you, then the hold will be removed. Yes, some of it is based on seasonal rates, and we discount Friday/Sundays, certain holidays excluded. The McKissick Center provides staff to ensure your event is safe and runs as smoothly as possible.

Beautiful building. Confused about which side was the front entrance. Luckily both sides were opened.
