Our mission is to educate people on the benefits of solar energy, to the best of our ability, and to assist home and business owners to receive the best return on investment for their solar array. 603 Solar is a solar energy service based in Exeter, NH. We wanted to begin a solar company structured on the values of integrity and honesty, providing an amazing customer experience and getting people the best return on investment.
Most of the solar arrays we install are know as Grid-Tied Systems. That is because even though you are producing power with your own solar energy, you are still connected to the grid for just in case scenarios, and Net Metering. Read below to learn how grid-tied systems and net metering work! Photovoltaic Solar (or PV for short) starts with our good friend, the sun!
603 Solar has partnered with the Vermont State Employees Credit union (VSECU) as a financing option for your solar array! 603 Solar is proud to work with VSECU as they offer a No-Money-Down "VGREEN" solar loan that understands solar and the benefits that it has to offer. This makes it easy and affordable for home owners to make the switch to solar energy without having to come out of pocket to do so.
At 603 Solar we like to start with the end in mind. Before your solar array is built we provide you with a detailed proposal so you know exactly how the array will look before we install it. We always strive to attain the best possible output for your system, while keeping aesthetics in mind, and will work with you to get exactly what you want.
Solarize Canterbury was the first major community solarize project that 603 Solar has been a part of. Solarize Canterbury all started with the Canterbury Energy Committee. The committee heard of towns in New Hampshire partnering with a local solar company to promote and educate the community on solar and was inspired to follow suit.

We have now used 603 Solar twice and have nothing but good things to say about their customer service. Scot is always prompt at returning texts and calls when I have questions and they were quick to get us taken care of when our energy needs changed (we added another adult to the household and also a hot tub!). Erin in the office is also great at answering questions or getting me the answers and returns emails in a timely fashion. It goes to say we would use them again. We have already used them twice.

Scot and the team at 603 Solar were great to work with for our large residential solar installation. We received quotes from a number of companies and 603 was by far the most competitive. The installation was smooth, the communication was great, and the administrative support with the utility company and state was fast and professional. The monitoring technology is top notch. 603 Solar completed an install for us over the summer. They were friendly, efficient and professional. The great thing about Solar is that your solar loan is the equivalent of what you’d been paying for your… electric bill - once the loan is paid off, your electricity is free for the lifetime of your panels. We’re looking forward to paying off our solar loan in five years and having free electricity for the following 20! We would absolutely work with 603 Solar again and definitely recommend them to anyone interested in the installation of solar panels.

In our town of Canterbury we repeatedly heard exceptional comments about this company's solar installations, of which there already were many, when we decided to meet to discuss a solar panel proposal. The team at 603 Solar were fantastic to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable in the field of solar energy and did a good job of answering our variety of questions. Several times Scot would say to us - 'you won't have to worry about a thing, we will handle it for you' which couldn't have turned out to be more true.
Thanks to 603 Solar we're now producing more energy than we're using, even in the darkest, cloudiest months of the year.
