While every town along 41 from Marco Island to the Caloosahatchee River seems to be in a race to modernize and clone housing communities, the Downtown Bonita Springs seems to stand no chance at winning--and they are just fine with it. Me too. Downtown Bonita Springs is more reminiscent of an old fishing village than any of its neighbors to the north or south.
No place encompasses that feel better than a small cafe converted from an old Florida cottage with a wrap around deck. Oh, and the food would have to be great too. Loaded with Old Florida History, The Survey Cafe is a quaint, mostly outdoor cafe set in the heart of scenic Downtown Bonita Springs. With a relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food, and good prices, this place is one of our absolute favorites on for breakfast or lunch.

Loved the duo The Clique. So diverse - really enjoyed their entertainment. I got the champagne chicken which - forgive me but was nothing special. Really not hot either. Nice portion of Cabernet . Other guests got beef and one got the veggie lasagne. Of course with French cooking - portion size is smaller - we even dipped our bread in the sauces after! Desserts are very expensive but look great. After band quit almost seemed rushed to leave by 8:30 even chef was out clearing tables! Yes, I did enjoy but not sure if I would return

They had a two piece band outside. Very nice, not to loud and talented. You do have to walk in and order your food and pay. Then someone brings it out to you. We actually preferred this because we could order at our own pace. They do have people that get drink refills for you and clear your plates.
We loved the food and every minute of the ambiance! We will be back often!

What a gem! We’re visiting from out of town and so glad we found this place! The atmosphere is adorable. There is a large outdoor patio with tree and umbrella coverage. The food was delicious with a wide variety for everyone. I had one of the best Chia Teas I’ve had anywhere. Overall highly recommend this if you’re looking for a casual and delicious breakfast. I wish I had taken pictures of both the location and the food but it was perfect.

Had a girls day with my friend. We visit the Wonder Gardens which is just up the road. We are not from around here so we googled vegan restaurants since I am Vegan. The Survey Cafe is amazing. We both ordered the delicious Veggie Burger Wrap. A side of avocado (cuz I love me some avocado) So so delicious. This place is cozy and cute. I know we were in the middle of downtown Bonita but I felt like I was at the beach. Just so cozy has a beach feel.
