Anrik Irrigation

This will probably cost me because I've paid for a winterization service that hasn't yet been provided but I'm really pissed off right now and need to share with potential customers the way I've been talked to by Annemarie like I'm some kind of scumbag. Apparently this is a company that obviously has so much business they can afford to lose customers by treating them like they are an inconvenience. If you are thinking about having an irrigation system installed than in my opinion Anrik is the best in New England.
My system (installed last fall)works flawlessly and the WiFi controller is a must for those people who like technology and easy to use.

Last fall Anrik came to winterize our irrigation system and they called to say they could not complete the work because the shutoff valve was defective and a plumber would have to replace it. I arranged to have a plumber come on a Saturday (their recommended plumber was too busy) and to make a long story short there was nothing wrong with the shutoff valve so we wasted a plumber's time and our money. We have been a customer of Anrik Irrigation for 20 years. Our system needed more than average maintenance this year so we called and scheduled service early to prepare for the 2021 Summer watering season. A service technician was out last week (April 2021) and worked on our system literally all day due to the repairs needed. This young man worked tirelessly until everything was up and running perfectly. He had all the parts needed and didn't have to leave and come back because he wasn't prepared. I have been using Anrik for 5 years now and the previous owners used them for many years before that. They have always been friendly and professional both over the phone and in person. My most recent appointment I needed to have some heads adjusted and a zone valve replaced. Dan was amazing! This guy clearly knows his stuff! Not just about irrigation, but plants too which was a bonus. He was passionate, professional, friendly, and offered me great advice on transplanting some things that had grown large enough to block coverage in other places. Anrik Irrigation work crew headed by Dan did a fantastic job putting in two new zones for me. It was a hot day yesterday and that crew worked hard. Did great work, went over the details with me. Extremely pleased.

The technician accidently cut the irrigation wires while repairing a pipe leak last year. Repair has not been made even this year! They charged for service call and 4 months later still not able to schedule an appointment! The worst customer service and company we ever dealt with. Super unprofessional and rude! DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!

I've been satisfied with their work over the years, they first installed my system about 14 years ago and have been opening/closing it and doing required maintenance since then. My only complaint right now is the yearly cost, in 2019 it's about $160 a year to open and close the system. While that seems to be higher than their competitors I stick with them because of their familiarity with my setup.

I have been very please with this company. They installed my system 6 years ago. They have winterized my system every year since. Only once have I had to have them come out and repair a head that I had damaged trying to adjust it. I was able to speak with someone right away in the office and within a few days a technician was out to make my repairs.

Honest and dependable! Have had them close our system for 5 years. Last year they did not winterize properly which caused a hole in the pipe leading to the backflow preventer. Without me even knowing they were related Dan said they would cover the bill because they caused the issue in how the system was winterized. Wow! That is honesty. He could have easily fixed it and charged us the 100s of $ I was expecting. You created a loyal customer!!

At the end of the day the job was completed but I had to hold this company's hand almost every step of the way. Rick showed up on time for the estimate. I had two other estimates that were lower but were months out on installing. I had to wait two weeks for the installation by Anrik. I went with them, not based on glowing reviews but on lack of really bad reviews--and the quick installation appointment. This company came over to help me out of a jam I had with another irrigation company. Annmarie quickly replied to my email, followed up with a phone call and the gentleman who showed up to resolve my issues (sorry I do not remember his name) was well versed in the business, very helpful, very polite, on-time, and all other checks in the boxes which you would like to see in a company like this. They have since earned my business, yes; they may be a more pricey than some of their competition but at the end of the day I'd rather pay more up front than chase a cheaper company to do a job correctly

We had an irrigation system installed this past June, and I can see why practically the whole street went with Anrik: They are a good, honest, responsive local business. The price for the job they did for us was more than fair, the quality of the components was excellent, and everything worked fine. They sent us a hand-written note thanking us for our business, and a quick call to remedy a few misbehaving sprinkler heads (out of 33!) was handled expertly.
