Daughter made a get away trip not knowing the weather was going to bad and that she was going to be sick. Blue sky could care less they got their money. Which is all they are in it for. They would not let her switch dates or refund her money AND admitted the roads would not be passable. so as you can see they are just in it to take your money. Cabin renter beware!

We have stayed at properties managed by Blue Sky Cabins a number of times. We have always been very happy. This time we spent Christmas and New Years at Lady of the Lake. We chose this cabin because of the outdoor fireplace and easy access (paved road right to the driveway.) The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It was prepped very professionally. We loved our entire stay there. Thanks for making it a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

My fiancé and I stayed at Moonlight Hideaway this past week and it was one of the greatest experiences we ever had. This company does an INCREDIBLE job with cleanliness of the cabin, preparation, and presentation. They had firewood handy for the fireplace and a little notebook where people write their experiences. Honestly everything was perfect.
I was amazed at how nicely the cabin was decorated and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. We can’t say enough good things about Blue Sky Cabin Rentals to everyone we meet and talk to.
Our dog Zoey loved it too.

BSCR has been great to interact with in regards to my cabin rental. I especially appreciate that I can call and easily talk to a human!!! If they are not available, they always respond to my voicemail by calling me back. Another excellent factor is that they sent an email as documentation for every phone interaction as well. They sent email reminders - which I need. They are friendly and efficient. I will be using them again. I rented Lofty Pines on the Cartecay and was pleased beyond my expectations. This cabin sits on the river and provides that magical, mountain experience I was looking for

Very disappointed with the responsiveness of Blue Sky Cabin Rentals after our experience with our rental of their cabin, Blue Ridge Retreat. Dish towels filthy, dining room chandelier held higher by a plastic knife and the only way to stop the bathroom fan from running all day/night is to keep the plastic tooth pick inserted into the broken switch (was in there when we arrived). NOT what we expected for the price paid. The cabin location was great and private but certainly not one we would ever recommend to anyone. Even more disappointing, was the lack of ANY response from Blue Sky Cabin Rental

My pictures don't live up to the reality. Cabin was everything we expected. Clean is an understatement. Best vacation in such a very long time, and it was exactly what was needed to get away from our every day lives and all the stresses that come with them. We just left a couple days ago and started planning another getaway with Blue Sky Cabin Rentals already!!

We stayed at Chloe's Lake Lodge and loved it! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the fans on the back porch didn't work and it was evident that hadn't for a long time. Would have been nice to sit in a shaded area with a breeze to escape the heat.
I have never been disappointed when staying at any cabins run by Blue Sky cabin rentals!

This is our fifth stay using Blue Sky. And in the past we only have had minor issues such as fire place not working etc. we dealt with it and continue to use them. This past time we stayed a Lazy Lake. The cabin itself was rustic. Not as nice as others. But we could deal with it. On the second night of our stay a number of tornadoes struck Georgia. Which is out of anyone's hands really. One actually hit where we were staying causing several trees to fall on the property. One was actually a huge pine that landed right in front of the back door. And unfortunately one fell onto our car causing

This company is very unprofessional, they lied to me and my husband telling us that if we couldn't make it up the mountain they would then find a different cabin for us if something was available of course, when I asked for this recording they ignore my request and or change the subject or completely pass by my request like it's nothing. This company is very dishonest, they only want to show proof of what they have to help them but yet they will not give me the recording of the phone call I had with Hayley

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and clean, however the company itself, Blue Sky was disappointing. Empathy and communication were lacking here.
I called Sunday when I was supposed to check in, to report to them that my dog was actively dying. I was unsure if I could make the reservation. The woman I spoke with said "she'd see what she could do" for that night but the cabin was still mine. My sweet Sadie passed away on Monday night.
I initially rented the cabin from Sunday-Thursday. I called again Tuesday AM, as some friends convinced me getting out of town would be a good idea

We stayed at the cabin called "The best of both worlds" It was outstanding - A newer construction super high-quality cabin with excellent appointments. It was very very private. The booking process was easy and there were no issues getting into the home. We had an awesome time and would book through them again.

Overall the cabin was ok. Missing some things, like a stronger wi-fi and, oh yes a garbage disposal! So if you're planning on cooking, use your imagination as you can not leave food waste in the sink. However this review is about the management.

The Cabin looked great at a glance but when we dug into the kitchen, (after getting ill) every single item you can think of we found DIRTY, AS IN "DRIED ON" "COOKED ON" DIRTY!!! (ALL these kitchen items were put up in their proper place of storage)

Just left a stay at Rivershire Cottage in Ellijay for my friend's bachelorette weekend. We could not have asked for a better weekend! Rain was in the forecast but we saw only a light mist for a few minutes. This cabin was the perfect accompaniment to truly an incredible weekend. It was immaculately clean, well-furnished, and every single bed was so comfortable that it was like sleeping on a cloud. Amazing company to do business with! They communicate every step of the way and their cabins are in excellent condition. They focus on the service and the details and this truly sets them apart from other companies. I cringe when I need to work with another company because you never know what you will get. With Blue Sky, there are no worries or variations.... It's always a 5 star experience! My family has stayed in their cabins three times with a fourth already booked! Definitely recommend!

Renters BEWARE! This cabin company canceled my family's vacation cabin rental 4 days before their vacation. When I left a negative review on Google the company came back and lied saying that there was a safety issue with the cabin. That was never mentioned when they canceled the reservation. They only stated that the cabin owner decided to pull the listing. They need a better policy that does not allow a cabin owner to pull a listing days before someone is coming to town on a major holiday week. Vacation planning takes time. People have to schedule time off weeks in advance. I would not trust

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clear Lake! The cabin was clean, comfortable and scenic! Our main intent was rest and relaxation which was a good thing as it rained heavily all the time we were there.
There was plenty of room...although there was just the two of us this weekend, we could easily have had space for the kids or another couple.
Although we didn't get to hike much due to the weather, it was lovely to just sit on the porch and take it all in.
We will definitely be back!

It was only after I posted a negative review that I received a message offering to compensate me for the dirty bathroom and dusty cabin. I was asked to update my review and I promised the I would after I received a credit.
I received the credit after 5 days and Jessica, the customer service representative, was very apologetic and seemed to be genuinely concerned about our experience. She invited us to come back and give us a second chance but after the last experience, I will respectfully decline.
The cabin was nice but Blue Sky will hopefully learn to inform their potential guests to be prepared

For the past five years we've wintered in Florida then on the way home to Michgian we rent one of Blue Sky's cabins. They're always a fun finish to our trip but this cabin was our Favorite of All of them! Often the cabins aren't safe to walk the dogs here we could go for walks without too much danger. The view was amazing, the furniture comfortable, it was clean and the kitchen was perfect, well stocked, labeled (loved the labels) and easy to cook in! We left behind some plastic wine glasses for future guests to use in the hot tub. We loved all the space even tho we didn&apos

Excellent customer service and a beautiful cabin. We picked Blue Sky Cabin Rentals after VRBO cancelled our booking after taking our deposit. They suddenly said the cabin wasn't available even though it was still listed as available online. (Again, another story of Blue Ridge pretentious behavior.) HOWEVER, it was SO EASY to book with Blue Sky. The cabin exceeded our expectations. You could tell someone really spent the time to ensure everything you could need was available. I was in constant contact with the rental company about the flea problem. I took pictures of the fleas (so many they were uncountable), pictures of the fleas on my dog, pictures of the fleas on our legs, pictures of the fleas on & in the linen, pictures of the receipt of the flea medication and finally it's receipt.
Yes, a polite grounds keeper came and sprayed. The spraying did not fix the problem.
