Hi, and welcome to the RC Chavez - State Farm Agency website. After graduating from Whittier College in 1993 with a dual major in Economics and Business Administration, I joined State Farm as an Accounting Supervisor. After several years working out of our Costa Mesa office, I relocated to Tampa, FL to begin my tenure in Catastrophe fire claims.
It was during this time I met my wife and with her support moved back to California and opened our very own State Farm Agency in July of 2000. Together we have 3 children with our 2 girls in college and son in high school. I have always valued education and in addition to my Bachelor of Arts, I have also earned my Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter industry designations.

I love the service and professionalism RC and his entire staff gives. I have been with RC since he began his career with State Farm, almost 30 years. Every claim I had over the years has been swift and painless. More than that, RC reaches out to me whenever he thinks I can benefit from a program, discount, or added service. At the end of this week, I will be re-locating out of state. RC has set the bar very high...I hope my new State Farm agent is just as good. I may have to call him from time to time just to make sure. RC lives up to the jingle...."like a good neighbor..."

Ok, I have been with State Farm for more than 10 years. I lived in the area and I chose RC (State Farm dude) for my auto and I was so satisfied I added a home coverage and when I have a question no matter how small he or his team alway and I mean alway responds in a timely manner. During the las years I have move more than 600 miles away, but when I need or am concerned about an issue about insurance these peeps not only answer, but guide me in the right direction. I really feel very comfortable with the service and they even look out for my best interest. Meaning they let me know the discounts

My husband and I have been with RC for over 18 years. He has watched both of our kids grow up and has always supported both of them in their sports endeavors. He is such a great friend to us and you get a family guy who cares so much about his clients. This review is going to have to do until we can make our own RC at State Farm commercials. He is family and I look forward to him being a part of this next chapter in our life.

RC has been our agent for over 15 years and has always provided excellent service. I recently had an issue with a broken windshield and within minutes of emailing him he called me and offered a solution. In moments like this when bad things happen it is nice to know that as an agent, his concern was genuine. 5 stars well earned!
Furthermore, in regard to the poor review about homeless and urine smell. I believe that should be a review directed to City Officials.

Homeless!, granted there are homeless everywhere in the area (bad area), but I did not expect to see homeless sleeping in front of the doors, and the SMELL of them, I can tell they were urinating on the side of the buidling, makes you want to not even get out of your car since they are there, and they even approached me for money, honestly go to safer location sounds biased against the homeless but its such a bad area so bad that AAA had to abandon their San Bernardino location because of it, the insurance agent was nice enough.

My husband's family has been with this company for years so I am especially disappointed with the service. I cancelled our homeowners insurance policy and found out 8 months later the policy was never cancelled when I had a shortage in my escrow account because I had paid for two insurance policies. I contacted the office and they then cancelled the policy and I received a refund for only the remaining months on the policy. I submitted proof that I had in fact had a new policy that coincided with with the dates I had provided but their response was that "corporate" did not approve
