Quilting designs and patterns which would be too cumbersome, complicated or impossible to maneuver on a home sewing machine are easily done on a professional longarm machine.

Services
Most of our classes are offered On Demand. What that means is that you tell us what class you would like to be taught. We'll work with you to find a date that works for you and then we'll announce it to everyone, and try to fill more seats. If we end up with one person (you) only in the class, that is fine.
This is a great experience for both the beginners and the more advanced quilters. Each month a block is to be created and at the end of the year, turned into a complete quilt top. Each month you will receive a kit with a different 12 block. The fabric is already pre-cut so all you have to do is sew it together following the complete instructions and diagrams.

Great little quilt shop. I registered for a class and Toni helped me figure out yardage requirements. Their fabrics are nice and I found 2 beautiful batiks to match a batik back that I wanted to use. The quality of the fabrics are so much better than purchasing online or from a fabric store. I can't believe Toni has a long arm machine that she rents out to people. The shop is clean and neat and thrilled I found it!

I have made about 10 queen sized quilts. Usually I do my own quilting using the stitch in the ditch. This time I really wanted an all-over quilting pattern. I called around to about 8 different shops, and I also researched what needs to be done to drop the quilt off.
After calling many shops, I finally called Gone Sewin and spoke to Toni. She asked a few specific questions, overall size, batting, back, etc, and I was prepared.
We picked a date, and when I arrived we selected the top thread, as well as the backing thread. -She was really helpful with this. We also discussed the squiggle

If you love to quilt or if you are interested in learning, this is the store for you. Beautiful assortment of fabrics, reasonably price. Class instruction for beginners to advanced. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly and goes out of her way to help you. I have been sewing for years, but every time I go to a class, I learn something new.

This is a great shop, here on Long Island. Toni is very helpful and knows her quilting! I love the selection of Presencia thread for piecing and the King Tut thread offered is the one my machine loves best for free motion quilting. The fabric is top quality, as well. The long arm service that GS offers is a God-send to many. I love this quilting shop!
