Planet Gymnastics
At Planet Gymnastics, children can feel comfortable trying new things and are encouraged to learn. Here, they can make mistakes without being laughed at and fall without being embarrassed. In our gymnasium, failure isn't bad; it's an essential part of learning and living. Gymnastics skills are introduced in a fun and progressive manner.

Our students enhance their balance, strength, flexibility, coordination, spatial awareness, and fitness through circuits and the four main events: vault, bars, beam, and floor. Gymnastics is a wonderful cross-training for other sports too! Regular evaluations of a student's progress allow them to advance to the next level when they're ready.
Services
Gymnastics is for every child who loves to run, jump, swing, climb and have fun. No matter what sport your child may go on to play, gymnastics will teach the base of it. The benefits include balance, strength, flexibility, coordination, agility and spatial awareness. All of our classes are taught in progressions.
We are so excited to announce the launch of our new NinjaZone program for Ninjas in training! This is a program that is skill-based, fast-paced and geared for boys and girls on energy overload! Our Ninja training program will combine military-style obstacle courses to develop strength and speed, gymnastics tumbling, and 'ninja' style moves just like what you would see in a video game or in the movies!
The easiest form of the monthly payment is to Add Planet Gymnastics to Your Banks Online Bill Pay. By setting it up through your bank you won't forget and there is no additional charge for use of a card. If you want the class you did as a trial, you must let the office know you want to continue or risk losing the class spot.
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required 7 days after booking the party to hold your reservation. Supervised gymnastics activity including obstacle courses, tumble track, trampolines, foam pit fun, and more. These activities are geared for children 3 years and up. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to the party time to set up! Our coaches will help you with whatever you need, just ask! Parties are 1 1/2 hours long!
Students must be picked up at the conclusion of their class, as we do not provide supervision after the classes end. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children before and after the classes in which they are enrolled. OFFICE NEEDS TO BE NOTIFIED if your child will be withdrawing from a class for any reason.

So far so good with this place. We have taken our children (4 and 2) here for a few weeks now and it’s been great. Very nice staff. It’s also nice that due to COVID since parents cannot attend classes we are able to watch via zoom for some of them. Overall great experience so far.

Critical: Communication
Hard to get a hold of. Left several messages in the past to reschedule a trial class because daughter was sick and couldn't make it but never got a response. Calling back about a year later and still goes straight to voicemail and I didn't even want to leave a message because I know I won't get a response.

My daughter's arm was scrached by one of the teachers' long nails. I let my little one to participate one more month with a different teacher, but I finally decided not to send my both kids there anymore. The teacher should know how to apologize to parents or kids even if this incident was just a mistake. She could see my daughter 4 more times after this happening, but she never asked a word to me or my daughter regarding her wounds. She even treated us like nobody. The teacher didn't report to me although I was in the waiting room. When I asked her why she didn't tell me even though I was there

My son has been coming here for a month, and so far it's been an absolute saving grace in terms of getting out some pent up wiggles.

The instructors are patient and fantastic and the facility is exactly what you'd hope for - basically a big room full of gym equipment for kids. My son is part of a class with two other children and he loves it. They go through a lot of basic exercises, but perhaps more important is that he is always moving, always pushing his limits and skill sets. Chloe is his instructor and she is caring and sweet with the kids.

I also have to genuinely applaud them

Planet is the place you want your kids to learn gymnastics. Not only do they offer gymnastics, but a new ninja program and a fancy feet ballet program. I attended planet gymnastics as a child and went on to the competitive level. The coaches they hire were also previous gymnasts who love the sport, have the patience to teach children, and encourage children to be a better and more athletic version of themselves. As you may know, gymnastics requires at least a subtle level of discipline required to excel. As you watch your child perfect their form you can also see the enthusiasm and energy the coaches

My kid loves this place. We have been coming for over a year. She started in Tiny Tumblers. That class was pretty much free play on the fun equipment in the gym. There was a structured warm up and cool down time. Parents have to stay with their kids in the class. Now she is in Gym Stars (3.5-4.5years). This class is much more structured, with no free play time. It's great practice for memory, waiting your turn, following directions, and lots of coordination and balance practice. She has a great time! Gia and Chloe are great instructors. We also had her 3rd bday party here and it was really

Kids seem like they are enjoying themselves doing actual gymnastics. Parking is tight. Go early but not too early. The single bathroom looks like a future crime scene. The waiting area is horrid. It goes from quiet and calm to insanely loud with kids everywhere. Most parents watch their kids. Def a few that let their little snowflakes jump and yell. Why more kids don't get nailed by the gym entry door from playing behind it remains unclear to me.

I took my 8 month old for a trial class for $10. We started in the main gym with all the other ages and moved to a smaller private room for the Tiny Tumblers (8mos-3.5 yrs) to run around freely. The room has a good variety of different gym equipment. This is an unstructured class, which they do say at the beginning. I may go back once she is a but older, walking and can understand the things going on in circle time.

Pros: close by, friendly staff, organized
Cons: monthly cost seems high (haven't compared with other gyms)

We LOVE Planet Gymnastics! (And no, we're not being compensated for saying that.)

My daughter has been taking classes at Planet Gymnastics since she was five years old. It's left her fit, happy, and full of self-confidence. The instructors are friendly, cheerful, and really get to know each kid as an individual. They build on the kids' strengths and help them overcome weaknesses.

Planet Gymnastics is ideal if you're primarily looking after your kiddo's fitness and happiness. It is NOT a harsh, performance-oriented, Olympics-or-die gym; no one is ever "punished

We had a 4 year old birthday party here lately weeeknd. It went pretty well. The two women running it put a lot of energy into directing the kids. I was really happy they got to go into the foam pit. My only criticism is I wish we could have gotten I to the room sooner. They kept the front door locked until 15 minutes before my party started. It was very stressful to have to wait until that close to the start of the party. Overall, cute place and the kids had fun.

Very disappointed; I heard GREAT things about this place. Then I tried to call to sign up/inquire about my daughter coming to a trial class.
-no one answers the phone....ever. (yes I am aware of office hours)
-no one ever called me back...ever.
-tried sending a message through "contact us"....didn't work. (and no, not a user error, I had my husband try from his work computer and he got the same result "the web page you are trying to access no longer exists....")
-sent email with no reply....ever.

I was really looking forward to this place because of the variety of

We have been at PG since my daughter was 3 years old...5 years later she's competing at Level 2 and loving every minute! Annette has been her favorite coach from the beginning, and continues to teach, coach and her encourage her. We love it here and hope their fundraising efforts pay off so more advanced equipment can be installed so our daughter can continue her gymnastics here for any more years. It's an amazing supportive and fun environment that encourages the kids to improve their skills without getting crazy competitive.

I love this gym. You can tell that the staff is like one big family! Everyone is very friendly, especially Ramona (the office lady), she always peeps out to say goodbye to the kiddos. All of the coaches are very sweet, Ms. Annette is hands down one of the best coaches in Sacramento! She is so energetic; the kids respect and love her as a coach. I recommend attending "Kids Night Out," my kids say it's the best babysitter! You can drop your children off and they receive dinner, games and lots of play time. They also offer open gym, cartwheel contests, dance classes, birthday parties

Perfect place for a young kids birthday party (6 and under). The kids have a great time, are well supervised, and finish up exhausted (always a good thing, right?).

My daughter looks forward to gymnastics day all week. She has a wonderful time here and I like that it is a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The focus seems to be on having fun, getting exercise, listening, and self-improvement. It is non-competitive and I like that it has the feel of a local, small business rather than an over-commercialized chain or large gym. Also love that they do a monthly parents night out where you can drop off your child for $30 from 6:30 to 10:00 while you get a date night with your significant other.
Very glad we found this place.

Screw a mosh pit, I'm all about the sponge pit!

My nephew had his 3rd birthday here and what a great time the little love bugs had! Me included, being able to pretend I was 5 years old again and jump into the sponge pit, jump on the tumbling trampoline, and run amuck in a huge room with many foreign objects.

The two "coaches" who were staffing the party were absolutely amazing with these little kids. They took time to speak to the kids genuinely and very kindly.

Two things I would want for a kids party (if they were mine) is cleanliness and kind hearted staff, which is exactly

My kids went to gymnastics classes here for about eight months. They liked it while they were there and the teachers were kind to them. The owner, however, picks favorites and walks around the place with attitude. My daughter turned six in the middle of summer session so they suggested she move up to the next level at the beginning of the August session. But the first day they put her in class with the four year olds. No one seemed to notice she was two heads taller than the other kids and after five or ten minutes my husband had to go to the office and ask if they made a mistake. When we arrived

This place is great. The most important thing in a school is the teachers. My daughter has had 4 teachers here and each has been very, very good. We used to go to Tricks, and that was fine too, but this place is definitely better. My daughter has learned a lot here and has really improved in her skills and confidence level as well.
Thanks!!

My two jumping beans and their friends love it here! They think they are just having fun and have no idea we're bringing them here so they can improve their balance, coordination, and motor skills in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere. This isn't a hard-core Olympic training ground.
