Established in 1881, Grand Lake sits at an elevation of 8,369 feet (2,551 m) and derives its name from the lake on whose shores it is situated: Grand Lake, the largest natural body of water in Colorado.

We booked a property and quickly, I mean within 5 minutes, realized that it was in the wrong location and canceled. Again, within 5 minutes of booking. This company wants to charge us $100 to cancel. The reservation is still over a month away. This is atrocious customer service.
Response to response: Yes, we don't know the Colorado area and we were looking for areas close in proximity to Denver, and we made a mistake initially when determining that. Rentals are being snatched up so quick, there's not much time to decide.

Our family had an absolute blast in Grand Lake. The ladies at Grand Mountain Rentals were fantastic and super knowledgeable about the area. Our house was spotless and more beautiful than the pictures advertised. We will be back next year and wont stay with anyone else but Grand Mountain Rentals. Super professional and don't have to worry about homes being double booked, etc. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and comfortable beds. You pay for a wonderful view of the lake! We found out after check in that the porch is not part of the cleaning contract so expect dirt, cobwebs and unclean furniture that you will have to self clean. Make sure all smoke detectors are in place because we found one in the bedroom that was detached. Management did however resolve the issue the following day.

The unit we rented was very nicely furnished, clean and the kitchen well equipped. The staff was very helpful any time we had a question. Would definitely work with them on future rentals.
It was a quiet time in town, but we knew that before booking it would be...perfect to relax and enjoy the mountains and view. Did not do as much hiking as we thought we would because we hit the first snowfall. This unit is perfect if you are going in the summer with children as it is across from the go-karts.
Definitely recommend .
