Services
River Rock Cottages is our family owned business providing relaxed and comfortable accommodations in the heart of Estes Park CO, walking distance to downtown Estes Park and a short 3.5-mile drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. We have seven cottages on our main property and we have four additional cottages in our neighborhood.
Our cottages all include flat screen HDTVs (several are also SmartTVs for streaming) with satellite channels and Wi-Fi is always complimentary. Cottages are also stocked with a hair dryer, coffee maker, toaster, iron and ironing board; coffee, shampoo and soap for your first day is also supplied. Our main property has two outdoor grills available along with a large flagstone patio with plenty of outdoor seating and a fire pit.
Our Aspen Cottage is a studio layout (no separate bedroom) with windows on all three sides with lots of natural light. This cottage sleeps up to 4 guests with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Aspen has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink and counter (no oven/stove). 48 flat screen HD SmarTV and top-down/bottom-up blackout blinds.
Our Bighorn Cottage has a lovely, fully enclosed (and heated) sleeping porch with windows on all three sides. Awesome views of Long's Peak from the sleeping porch! The porch includes a king bed. Bighorn also has a queen bed in the bedroom and the bedroom includes a walk-in closet. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa.
Diamond is one of our larger cottages on our main property. This cottage includes a king bed in the bedroom, a queen bed in the sleeping porch and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with place settings for six, basic pots and pans and dishwasher. There's an extra room off the kitchen that is perfect for outdoor gear.

We had a great stay. Our cottage was clean, and stocked with plenty of towels, TP, etc. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. One ceiling fan and at least 3 portable fans available to keep the space comfortable. Great location, close to everything; the only reason we didn't walk downtown is because we didn't want to walk back up the big hill to get back, haha (it's big!). No privacy issues at all, in fact we didn't even get to meet our hosts (not intentional, we were just busy, busy, busy, hiking and sightseeing.) I think my biggest criticism would be the water pressure is low in the shower

Highly recommend River Rock Cottages!!
Great place to stay in Estes Park! Cottage was incredibly clean and Terry was very quick to respond to our questions. Another nice touch was a mix of makeup remover items that my girlfriend very much appreciated.
Close to the Main Street with shops and restaurants - just be prepared for a mini hike of a quarter mile back :)

We had a wonderful stay at River Rock Cottages. We stayed in the Bighorn Cottage and it was the perfect size for us and our two teenagers. We loved the sleeping porch! It is in a great location to be able to walk to downtown, has great views of Long's Peak and the area was safe and quite. It was also very clean and well equipped. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of outside seating. We actually had the Bighorn Cottage booked in 2020 and canceled because of Covid. After rebooking in 2021 we had to change our number of nights. Both times the process was super easy and the owners quick to

We stayed at the Virginia House. The location couldn't have been better. It was within walking distance to downtown Estes Park, about 10 minutes from RNP Fall River Entrance and about 15 minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance. I could leave the family sleeping, drive into the park for an early hike and return before they even woke up! The house was very nice with plenty of space. The mattresses were very comfortable. Just left from my first ever visit to Estes Park, and I am so glad that I booked our stay at River Rock Cottages! My family of five stayed quite comfortably in the Bighorn cottage, and all of us were absolutely pleased with the location, amenities, and cleanliness. We got to hang out by the fire pit and chat w other guests, chill in the hammocks w awesome views, walk down the road to great restaurants (Nepal's Cafe and Ed's Cantina were delicious), and be close to all of the wonders of Estes Park and RMNP. I hope to travel to the area again, and I would certainly look for availability at River

We loved our ladies’ weekend at the Diamond Cottage at River Rock Cottages. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and bath had everything we needed. Cozy place within a couple of minutes’ walk to restaurants and shopping. Just a short 10 minutes from RMNP, too. We highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay in the Diamond Cottage. Even though we shared an interior wall with another cottage we could not tell! It was very quiet. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. It was conveniently located in walking distance to downtown Estes Park and within short driving distance to RMNP. We also enjoyed their recommendations on things to do and places to eat! We would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely love River Rock Cottages. We have stayed there multiple times in all different cottages and houses with them. The houses are fully equipped with everything you need or could want. We have stayed there after getting married in Rocky Mountain National Park, have stayed at these for all anniversaries each year, and any trip we take to Estes Park. This time we brought our parents and smallest child along with us and they loved it as well.The cottages are all within walking distance from town so its very easy to walk to go have lunch, dinner, go shopping, go to the playground, etc.We have
