I used to enjoy the food from this place a lot, but recently its bad experience every time. Ordered the popular and best selling boneless chicken biryani and it is absolutely nasty. Rice is literally mushy and saggy and didn’t have the essence of the biryani at all. Either the owners don’t care anymore or the business isn't doing well.

You know when you walk into an Indian restaurant and nearly all the clientele is from India, the food must be authentic. This place did not disappoint! Food was amazing! Lunch buffet was super fresh and flavorful and the spiced chai was soooo good! This place is a definite winner! Did I mention they have a full bar too?

No order gets properly served. If asked, we are always replied that’s how it usually is! Phone orders are even worse. Order one item, go home and get another to your unpleasant surprise. No consistency in the food. Either too spicy or too bland and again shouldn’t question as that’s how it is ! The frustration is more with the do not care and inconsistent responses not even bothering about customer than the food itself. No accountability or customer respect. Not rude but not listening as well ! A very weird experience overall.

One more addition to the list of dishes… Curry fried rice 🍚…spicy but one of my new favorites. In a way as a resident of Eden Prairie I feel proud to say that India Spice House is one of the best Indian restaurants in the twin cities... Unmatched service with excellent quality of food... The cauliflower pepper dry is also a must try for all vegetarians 😊

Never had the briyani in this way. This is just the boiled goat pieces with boiled briyani rice as goat pepper fry briyani and boiled briyani rice as well as boiled eggs as egg briyani. And this is not cooked on the day we ordered at least , may be day or two days back cooked, because after we brought it to house with in next 2-3 hrs there was rotten smell. And when we called this was response “it is same briyani what we serve for our customers” thank you Indian spice for your hospitality on this.

India Spice House used to be a nice place l. But recently, specifically post covid situation it has become a restaurant where "YOU SHOULD NOT GO OR ORDER FROM".
With past experience we have ordered and in all instances experiences are horrible.
1. SPOILED RICE (That could make us sick and not sure how the restaurant is maintaining the food safety standard)
2. Overly spicy food in spite of instructing
3. Non edible daal due to quality
4. Giving incorrect item and also with reduced quantity (it looked like just some leftover is put).
5. Increased price and degraded quality
