I have had a very positive interaction with NV Power Products. I have a rare Honda tractor from the 90's and Brian McDonald has been more than helpful with advice over the phone even prior to needing repairs. I tend to do most of my repairs myself but his knowledge of this product leaves no doubt that any time I need help he will be more than able to accomplish the job. I drove to Reno 2 times (400 miles total) to have my Stihl chain saw starter rope repaired. Left it off, went to pick it up, brought it home, rope busted on first pull. Took it back, service man put a new pully in it, used it one day, started it up the next day and the rope pulled out of the handle. The rope is down in the pully. Then I discovered that the screws that hold the top cover on must have been put in with an air driver. I cannot budge the screws to clean the air filter. I am going to have to take it to someplace that knows what they are doing. I am certainly not going to take my chain

My wife and I recently bought a pressure washer that was returned by another customer at Tractor Supply here in Reno. After getting it home, reading all the instructions, and repeated attempts to get it to start, it wouldn't. We called Nevada Power Products made arrangements to take it in and were greeted by Barry. He was courteous, professional and communicated clearly what he and the staff would attempt to learn about our "lemon". Long story short, they got our pressure washer running in no time! The charge to do this was very reasonable and we couldn't be happier. Thank you, Nevada Power Products

We bought a $50,000 John Deere from this company last year. Because it is extra wide we arranged with a third party to have it taken in for its first service- as Nevada Power Products doesn’t have a wide enough trailer.
I just received a call from Brian demanding immediate payment ($160) for the service as the tractor was loaded up to come back to us. I asked him if he would mind ringing my husband who had spoken with the company that very morning and he would take care of it. Brian told me that he would have to unload the tractor and keep it until the service was paid for.

Paid $14,000 for a new Kubota X900 UTV. These guys "adjusted" the transmission. 4 years later the transmission burned up. Kubota says that it was misadjusted but was out of warranty. Nevada Power Sports lied to the Kubota customer service to get out of fixing my machine. Just overall bad, bad, bad customer service. STAY AWAY
Nice try, except that your "mechanic" told me that it was normal to have to kill the engine to get it out of reverse. Since no other dealer ever worked on it and the transmission was maladjusted...it was YOU that caused it and now you blame me, the customer. BEWARE of this

We came into the store today with questions on pricing and some more information on a tractor that would suite our needs. The store was not busy at all yet my husband had to say hello first to the man behind the counter. The man was not personable and proceeded to speak to my husband in a manner that was incredibly condescending and rude. "Well theres a obvious difference, ones orange and ones green." I have purchased a John Deere Gator and a Kubota Tractor from this place. This place has the worst customer service. I brought my tractor in for service and they had it for two weeks and never even touched it. I have had the same results with the gator. When I went in to the shop to talk to manager he said I was the manager I just quit. They said they lost the paperwork on my tractor and never even tagged it for service to be done. I would recommend anyone purchase their equipment somewhere else.

I live in Zephyr Cove NV. For those of you living at the lake this year you know the snow fall has been unbelievable!! My friend Cory Lobato, who has purchased 3 Honda snowblowers, went to Nevada Power Products to purchase a new snowblower for my property. Kyle was his rep and Kyle ordered a new Honda 1332 for Cory on a Thursday and assured him it would be available on Monday. True to his word the blower was available. Nevada Power and Kyle went above and beyond to get him this blower. It's been so amazing to have the blower during the continued winter storms. We'll definitely be recommending

They are not serious about selling tractors. They claim to be dealers for Deere and Kubota and they had two tractors I was interested in but when I asked if it would be possible to test ride a couple of tractors, the clerk gave me the "stupid question look" and responded, "absolutely not." I spent less than two minutes in the shop, I won't waste another second there. Go down the road to the Kioti dealer, they want your business. Even if you don't buy a Kioti, they will show how you should be treated.

Totally agree with Gary P. Horrible place to deal with. Honesty and integrity damaged or non-existent. We asked for specific service items to be addressed on a kubota and they alternately ignored or chastised us. They tried to brush off incompetence as being a good old boy agreement to which I pointed out that neither fit with my gender or sensibilities. The man behind the counter was too dense to understand what I meant even after I pointed out that he was talking to a female. I see no reason to ever return or suggest that anyone else waste their time at this place. Warn your friends; recommend
