Sea View Pharmacy is a local, independent pharmacy that is family owned and operated. As mentioned, based on my recent experience at Sea View (and the owners response), I am no longer going there. I am pleased to report that I found an amazing place called South Marina Pharmacy in Aliso Viejo that goes the distance to make customers feel comfortable and safe!
It takes me about 10 more minutes to get there but it was totally worth it. I even got my Covid booster shot while I was there. They are a tiny place, even smaller than Sea View, but they have a very efficient system to get customers in and out quickly and I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. Sea View could

This pharmacy is so amazing. The first time I went in was to look for a nebulizer for my infant when CVS, etc. didn't have them or they were incredibly costly. The owner was so compassionate and patient with me (I was stressed and had my sick daughter with me) and they even taught us how to use it properly and gave me some great tips.

This pharmacy is the real deal. I came right at closing time one night and Gene stayed afterwards to make sure I got my Rx and properly explain everything to me. Honestly, that night I learned more from him than my own doctor. Joseph, too, you guys care for your customers doesn't go unnoticed :) Thank you for what you do!

Half the staff were not wearing masks & customers were allowed inside without masks as well. I had to go here for a special medication but I'll be looking into other options after today.
The CDPH states, as of June 18 2020:
People in California must wear face coverings when they are in the high-risk situations listed below
* Inside of, or in line to enter, any indoor public space
* Obtaining services from the healthcare sector in settings including, but not limited to, a hospital, pharmacy, medical clinic, laboratory, physician or dental office, veterinary clinic, or blood bank

Rude. I used to go here about 8 years ago, now I remember why I stopped. My regular pharmacy in Laguna Woods ran out of my med, so I called them to inquire. The 1st person tried her best, but then passed the call to someone else. When this woman got on the call, she was so passive agressive it made me sick. I work in healthcare and you should never talk to people the way she did. She kept saying she couldnt hear me and insinuated it was on my end. I actually called there 2x and it was not on my end. The main pharmacist got on the call and he was a bit better, but not very helpful. I would not ever

4 stars for customer service! I think they could be a five-star if they could get rid of that food smell,
clean it up as it feels a bit cluttered and outdated and specialize in one area or separate the animal side of it. Between regular big Pharma Pharmacy, individualized compound pharmacy and filling meds for animals makes me a bit nervous. I hope my Yelp will encourage the owners to make some positive changes!

I have come to Seaview many times over the years. While their personal service has always been exceptional and they've done their best in trying to help, they have recently said their supplier is not able to provide a particular medication. Just so happens to be the one I've been taking for years! I cannot patronize the one place I would go if I could.
So that's my review: positive because they're such nice folks, and negative, because they can't supply my medicine.

I have been to Sea View Pharmacy many times in the last four years and I have never had a bad experience.
Some times they can't fill a script because suppliers charge too much for the supplies and insurance companies pay too little in reimbursements. I understand those things are out of their control and they are a business after all, no government money keeping them open.
I value the relationship I have grown with them and I trust them with all my compound prescriptions!!

This place is a God send. I was given a prescription that no other pharmacy seemed to have. Turns out those other pharmacies are more concerned about regulations and scrutiny than they are about patient care. Without Sea View Pharmacy I would simply not have been able to get the medicine. they are HEROES!
