Inspired by the kindness in our community we started Daddy Matty's BBQ with a purpose: Feed our Community and help our Neighbors. Our Motto "Everybody Eats" captures our commitment to sharing. In New Jersey a quarter of our neighbors must choose between food and other essential costs. 1 in 7 struggle with hunger, a third of which are children.
Come Watch and sample five local pit masters competing in a completion sponsored by Daddy Mattys BBQ, and the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry, enjoy live music and company. Admission is canned food which will be donated to the Morris Country Interfaith Food Pantry. Come relax and unwind with yoga and BBQ! First come first serve, reserve your spot for 35 dollars per person.
What style of BBQ are you making? Gypsy style. We smoke our meats over local woods according to what tastes right. We don't want to be tied down to one style or flavor profile when there are so many delicious possibilities. Just that - For every purchase you make from Daddy Matty's we'll donate meals to our neighbors who need them through our partnership with The Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry.

I really wanted to like this place but it was really disappointing. I ordered the brisket with rolls on the side and a side of coleslaw. The brisket was seriously one giant pile of grizzle and fat. Very little pieces of meat, it was chewy and if you pulled it apart it looked like a spiderweb with all the fat intertwined. The sauce they give you is good, but I just couldn't get over how tough and fat ridden the meat was. The rolls were good, taste like Hawaiian rolls.
Now onto the coleslaw, saying it was really bad isan understatement. It had hardly any dressing practically dry...and it tasted

Excellent atmosphere and food! can't wait to go back. live music, BBQ, i felt like i was in a friends backyard just hanging out. its a very unique, relaxed, and fun atmosphere. the service is exceptional and you're made to feel welcome the second you step through the door. i can't recommend Daddy Matty's enough

This site is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I I need a superb meal, this is the place that comes straight to my mind. best and all sorts of food and a rich menu.courteous team, and good spirit. And very important, the price is decent. I praise this place with no doubt.

Great barbecue place! Loved the pulled pork tacos! Husband had the 5 meat combo and loved it all did say brisket was his favorite! Girls shared the pulled pork and brisket sliders! And they loved the Mac and cheese! Wait staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely a go to pace if we ever get back to Madison. Thank you.

This was good BBQ. All the meats were a bit dry, but the smoke flavor was dead on and the portion size was a great value. The staff are really friendly. Definately try this place if you are in the area. We had the brisket, pulled pork and rib combo and took half home for another meal. The creamed spinach is great, the slaw was OK.
