My father, Robert R. Hilger, and my mom, Jackie Hilger built their first assisted living home in 1990. This home was a tribute to Elsie Marie Hilger, my dad's mother, who passed away from dementia several years prior to the opening. After my grandmother developed Alzheimer's disease, her memory impairment left family members bewildered and with feelings of hopelessness, which are common feelings for anyone experiencing this with a family member.
Our traditional home care package is both diverse and inclusive. We recognize the importance of finding the best match for yourself or your loved one and therefore we will invest ample time to make sure that this important step is in place and build from there. Compatible personalities, similar cultural experiences and spiritual orientations will be our guide as we find your perfect caregiver.
Our approach to meal preparation is driven by our quest for purchasing fresh seasonal produce in order to keep things diverse and fun! Our menu has plenty of available options ranging from our fall favorite Shepherd's Pie to our over the moon Lasagna Marinara complete with fresh basil and garlic knots.
When you sign up for one of our membership packages, you receive special benefits and amenities such as activities calendars, holiday meals, roadside assistance, and special discounts and coupons. Like all of our services, our packages are tailored to fit your personal needs. This is a good option for someone who needs needs full-time concierge care and would like the same caregiver for each visit.
Our core values shape our work ethic and are an integral part of our staff training, and orientation, continuing education and our overall investment in our hand selected home care assistants and concierge envoys.
