Tiferes Medical Group is a family owned practice that started many generations ago in China. We practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, a system of health care with a clinical tradition dating back to AD 600. It includes acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, Body Manipulation, nutrition and more. Our family holds very effective healing methodologies not found anywhere else in the world.
These methodologies have been transmitted from generation to generation only to those found worthy of acquiring the knowledge. Services
Initial Visit special: $180 Consisting ~30' consultation followed by ~1 hour of best suitable treatment tailored to you (not necessarily involves needles). A $350+ value. Follow up treatment: $120/hour for acupuncture. Note: for Seven star needles treatment, cupping treatment, Moxa treatment, or other treatment, additional charges may apply.

This review is such a long time coming but so needed. Esther is the most genuine, selfless, hardworking individual who cares for me like my own mother. I walked in to Chinese medicine with a grain of salt, but as a last hope. I have struggled with a hormonal imbalance for many, many years, and was put on antibiotics and birth control as an answer from many Western medicine doctors. Wow, where do I start!? I first came to see Esther about 2 or 3 years ago now for acute lower back pain after a bad massage that ended in me barely being able to walk up straight. Since then I have used her services as a primary source of health care and medicine vs. going to my Dr's office . She was able to completely rid me of my lower back pain pretty much instantly with her hands. A few cracks/movements of the back and my pain was gone! Esther is an incredibly caring and talented doctor. She has solutions you won't find anywhere else. She used cupping and adjustments to help with a 5 year back pain problem. It was highly effective. Though I'm not totally recovered, I was amazed after all the treatments I've tried, how quickly and fully the cupping worked to relieve my back pain. Esther is gifted and fantastic!

We got to know Dr. Zheng about three years ago. Dr. Zheng is one of rare good Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors who makes you feel you are blessed if you go see her by chance or after so many tries with other doctors.

It’s been almost a year since I visited her office for the first time and I’m constantly having her treatment as well as health-care advice since then! I have been having chronic stiff shoulder and neck for a long time but it’s getting so much better with her treatment. Not only that, she is always providing the right treatment/approach to every type of health problem. Amazing... amazing... amazing....Wow a true gifted miracle worker!! I don't know where to begin.
Day 1...My mother woke up with paralyzed body unable to move any direction. We finally were able to bring her to a standing position but was very limited to doing baby steps because of the unbearable pain from her waste down to her hip.
Day 2....She visited the ER at Kaiser Hospital in hopes to find out the root cause. Stayed in the ER for a day. We were told it was a pulled muscle. She was sent home with all kinds of pain killers.
After 3 days of still no movement we decided to try alternative

I don't even know where to begin. As a matter of fact, my husband and I are reluctant to relocate from the Bay Area because that would mean we would be far from Esther - and that would be inconceivable to us! That's how much we respect and admire her as a true medical practitioner and healer. Esther is a brilliant and caring doctor! She has a depth of knowledge that is extremely hard to find (even from other Chinese medicine/ holistic doctors) and I believe it is because she grew up in a family of TCM doctors. I have had chronic cystic acne due to PCOS (hormonal condition) since I was 14. After our first session, she prescribed me herbs and my skin immediately improved within a couple of weeks. She has helped me get off hormonal birth control as well and my skin has stayed mostly clear. She understands & treats the deep root of the problem to restore your system to balance instead

Esther is very knowledgeable and honest.
My father twist his knee at the gym and we were very concerned that the injury will not recover since he had a previous injury on the same location.
Esther did for him a treatment that includes needles, for me it was the first time seeing something like that and I was very skeptical.
After 90 mins my father start to walk and said that 80% of the pain is gone.
We are so excited to keep visiting.

Before I called Tiferes Acupuncture my back was in so much pain I couldn't walk straight.
I made an appointment and came to see Esther. She did a rare technique on me...this body manipulation that few Acupuncturists know how to do. This technique works Miracles because in about 30 minuets my back wasn't hurting anymore. I was able to walk out without pain. Aside from being a gifted professional healer Esther is very kind and caring. She took her time and was very attentive. I cannot say enough praise about Tiferes Acupuncture and recommend it highly.

I originally came in due to back and hip pain. I was having trouble just walking or standing for just a few minutes without pain, and could barely bend. I didn't want to see my regular doctor because I wanted to avoid medication. I had tried acupuncture years ago, so I thought I would try again, but this time with Tiferes. After my first appointment I already felt significant improvement. After a few treatments I feel almost back to normal and am able to do my day-to-day activities comfortably.

Growing up, my parents always told me about Chinese medicine but I have to admit I was skeptical. However, a few years ago I started dealing with a skin condition that could not be explained by Western medicine. I saw multiple doctors at Kasier and PAMF, and even had surgery done, but the condition kept recurring. The doctors all told me they don't know what triggers these episodes and basically I had to be prepared for this to keep recurring. When an episode came back again this year, I took oral antibiotics for almost 2 months before I decided to seek alternative solutions.

I called her I made an appointment I went from a Pain Scale 10 after I saw her and after she treated me I left with no pain it's been over 48 hours and I still have no pain I don't know what she did but I know that what she did she knows what she's doing and I've taken all of the herbal medications that she's giving me and I know that I'm getting better very quickly.

I severely sprained my lower back while doing a exercise squat. Because were sharp pains across my back when moving, I was unable to bend forward/sideways or walk without pain.

I wouldn't be able to write this review if it weren't for Esther's help. When I first came to her three months ago, I had tendinitis in my wrist so badly that I couldn't text or use a computer. I also had tendinitis in my shoulder, a stuck hip, back pain, and a foot that was going numb.

About two years ago I injured my shoulder while working out. Initially, I struggled to heal myself with massage, over-the-counter ointments and other treatments over a three month period but nothing worked. I was in a lot of pain when I came to Dr. Zheng. After the first treatment I started to feel better and after 10 visits my shoulder healed completely. Her treatment involved cupping and acupuncture. My girlfriend and I visited Esther yesterday evening as she was closing. She not only made time for us but stayed 2.5 hours, 90 minutes more than we hoped.

Dr. Zheng is very knowledgeable and dedicated in seeing her patients be treated as best as they can.
She has personally helped me with basic (but important) knowledge that goes beyond the treatments.
She is concerned with the long-term well being of her patients, but also addresses the short-term areas as well.
