Master classes and workshops are offered in a variety of styles and taught by Company Artists. Petra Ballet School of the Arts has a mission to raise up young artists with a heart for worship. Instructors provide training in technical excellence while imparting a passion for Jesus to their students. Teaching from a Christian perspective, we desire to offer a wholesome and safe environment for dancers to learn, be challenged, and grow.

Petra Ballet Company is a professional Christian ballet company based in Springfield, Missouri. Jason and Kim Raymond serve as the Founders and Directors of the Company and School of the Arts. Kim, a native of Springfield, danced professionally and toured with Ballet Magnificat! from 2001-2007. Jason and Kim met in Jackson, Mississippi, and were married in 2004.
Petra Ballet Company desires to give Jesus Christ the highest praise with our talents. Our mission is to exalt His name through dance, revive hearts through worship, and make Him known through excellence in the arts. With Jesus as the foundation of this company, we are committed to sharing our passion for Him locally to our city, nationally, and internationally.
Petra Ballet Junior Company exists as an extension of Petra School of the Arts. This select group of intermediate to advanced students will participate in weekly class and rehearsal in a focused and intentional environment to refine, grow, and challenge dancers physically, spiritually, and artistically beyond the classroom.
