Formerly known as Short Family Medical Group, Oak Hills Family Practice & Med Spa is now located at 2756 Elkton Trail, off of Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Hope Short and Geri Ann Spelbring, FNP-C are delighted to provide you with the best medical care available. The providers and their team of healthcare professionals truly believe in the principles of listening to and serving their patients.
Our goal is to provide the best possible care for all patients in a timely fashion. We offer a wide variety of services including complete physicals, well-child checks with immunizations, treatment of major medical problems such as hypertension and high cholesterol, skin biopsies, birth control management (including Mirena and Implanon insertion) and same day sick visits.
At Oak Hills Med Spa we understand the importance of looking younger while eliminating unwanted wrinkles. Our variety of cosmetic services and treatments are safe, effective and non-surgical. This place is so awesome!! The staff is very polite, professional, and helpful :)
My one year old son had a bad cough and they were able to get him in the same day I called, he saw Gerri Ann, a nurse practioner, who was super friendly and thorough and got him all the medicine he needed to get better 🙏 🙏 🙏

Omg, my nurse prayed for me and my brother today, I had just gotten bad news about my brother. Then my nurse practitioner, Gerri Ann Spelbring, (whom I love) I didn’t need to see her today, but she took time to come in just to pray for him and give me a hug. It was so nice to see how caring they both were. I so appreciated it.

My nurse was nice, but the front desk was speaking loudly to each other about my personal information. I had gone in for symptoms of allergies/sinus infection and they took some tests and the PA said it was just allergies and for me to take allergy medications, which I had already been doing that and it wasn't helping. My symptoms worsened and my sore throat turned into very bad cough and my throat was hurting more than before. I return 2 days later for a follow up and turns out I had an infection and needed antibiotics. The first visit I didn't have to pay anything because I had a credit then

I absolutely love the team at this clinic... Dr. Short knows her stuff and takes the utmost care of her patients. Geri Ann, the nurse practitioner, makes you feel so cared for and takes time to explain everything to you in a way that makes sense, and Stephenie Gilmore, one of the nurses, is SO kind and patient and careful to make sure you’re comfortable and feel taken care of! Couldn’t recommend it enough!!!

Great Doctor with very personal care. Easy to talk to, she has plenty of time to listen and very knowledgeable. Always available to take care of you. Knowledgeable staff with quick call back. I have been a patient of hers for over 15 years and have personally known her for over 30 years. Highly recommended.

I honestly don't know where to start... I've never experienced a physician like Dr. Short, she's so kind, caring, and fun! Yes, fun! Where do you find someone who can treat your illness and make you smile with her personality and humor. I've been seeing Dr .
