Our goal is to provide the highest quality dance education by sustaining a nurturing and positive atmosphere wherein young students may grow and learn. Stage Door Dance Academy, opened its doors in 1992 in Palos Park, Illinois. The entrance was in the back of the building emulating a theater's "stage door" and that's how we took the name "Stage Door Dance Academy."
In 2005, we relocated to our present location in Oak Forest. We look forward to celebrating our 30th season of dance with you! In short, Stage Door has changed my life. From the moment I started taking class at age 3, I was instantly welcomed into the Stage Door family. Over my 15 years at Stage Door, I received a top notch dance education from some of the most qualified teachers in the business that prepared me for college dance and beyond.

Services
This creative movement class is filled with circle songs, dance and magical moments! A delightful time of fun, friendship, and frolic is designed especially for our two year-old future stars. A great beginning to the journey of dance! Summer dance classes are a unique and creative experience designed for summer fun and accomplishment!
We encourage all of our dancers to participate in our Annual Dance Production. We believe the discipline of dance training gives children a better understanding of commitment by offering them the chance to learn, experience the spirit of teamwork, and understand what hard work can accomplish. A performance always creates wonderful memories for your dancer and family!

So glad I enrolled my daughter into their program. She has been dancing non stop since she has been there. She loves her dancing teachers and looks forward to always going to class. I was beyond impressed with the facility and how well staff took to my daughter (she is featured here on the website background). Their recital performance was AMAZING!!!! A great show that I look forward to seeing again. No place better!!!
