Our company first opened its doors in Reading in 1952 as a water softener dealer for The Lindsay Company. Mr. Lindsay invented the first semi-automatic water softener in the 1920s. His passion for inventing kept The Lindsay Company at the forefront of innovation. The Lindsay water softeners were known for their high-salt efficiency and innovative technology.
Far too often in our busy lives, we failed to acknowledge people and organizations that make our lives easier. What Sets Our Water Softeners Apart from the Rest? Our predecessor, Lindsay Soft Water, always had the reputation of being the most salt efficient softeners available. As soon as my wife and I met Angela, the water specialist who came to our house, we knew we were in good hands. She was so friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which we loved. Scheduling is simple and convenient. The staff is knowledgeable and quick to provide solutions to consider. The Technician is fast, reliable and loves to explain the science behind the products-and takes time to answer questions, which is so very appreciated. The personnel at Advanced Water Resources(AWR) are perfessional, show up on time, and seem very friendly...that is until it comes to money as dealing with them has proven to be costly as a result of their lack of knowledge and negligence. AWR installed a neutralizer and water softener approx. 3 yrs ago. 1. Their erroneous calculations caused a drainage pipe to totally solidify to which they charged me hundreds of dollars to fix and correct, not to mention inconvenience of no water and they marred the paint in their area of work. 2.
