Dr. Jerry Ellis graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1983 and opened a private practice in Midlothian that same year. He earned the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1991 and maintains a strong commitment to continuing education in order to provide his patients the latest dental technology and materials.
Our staff delivers the highest possible level of care with compassion and understanding. Our goal is to promote for our patients optimal health and wellness with an emphasis on dental health. We pursue clinical excellence through continuing education, personal and team growth, and the mastery of leading technology.
A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

Dr Ellis’ practise is a very unique and pleasurable experience as everyone there makes you feel as though you are a “Welcome Guest” and you ARE to them.
From the positive cheery greeting to the care concern and professionalism , the fear of “going to the dentist” is never the case at Dr Ellis as they are one of the best dental practices in the DFW Metroplex!
I wholeheartedly recommend them as every other patient surely would do the same.

What an amazing Dr and group that works with Dr Ellis. My family has used them for years. From teeth cleaning to dental work, we are always happy with our experience. The receptionist are always willing to work with you on appointment times and for rescheduling. The Hygienist are efficient and friendly. I am glad that we started using this office when we moved to Midlothian. This is an amazing group of Christians and I would recommend them to anyone in need of dental care.

Loved my experience at Dr. Ellis. Mandy did an awesome job cleaning my teeth. Very attentive o m concerns. She s a true professional. Always greeted with a smile by Debbie and Saundra. Dr Ellis AND his entire staff are truly phenomenal. They are so fun to just visit with. They make you feel like one of the family even before they begin any procedure. Their professionalism is above and beyond any dentist we have ever dealt with in our 73 years. If I ever move away from the area I will gladly travel back to as far as I can just to use their service.
