At Hendersonville Dermatology, we can test, diagnose and treat most conditions in our office. Most skin problems can be managed with a thorough history, detailed examination and a carefully designed treatment plan. Certain skin conditions may require additional testing, such as skin biopsy, blood testing or allergy testing.
If you're interested in maintaining or improving the appearance of your skin, Dr. Cohen can help. With experience and training in the most recent cosmetic procedures, he can help minimize the appearance of frown lines and crow's feet, replenish lost facial volume, soften facial creases and restore lip volume and contour.
Dr. Cohen established Hendersonville Dermatology in 2016 to provide those who live and work in Hendersonville and neighboring areas with a superior level of dermatological care, expertise, and trustworthiness. In order to give you the best possible care, we strongly recommend not wearing any makeup because it may camouflage small skin cancers and other problems. We also highly recommend a head to toe skin examination for anyone who is at risk for, or is concerned about, skin cancer. You can help us serve you better by completing the registration through our Patient Portal prior to your initial appointment.
If you care about your skin and health, you will protect yourself from the sun. Proper clothing is the first line of defense because it is chemical free and provides all day protection. Broad brimmed hats, long sleeve shirts, long pants and special swim shirts protect most of the skin surface.

When I arrived for my first appointment I was handed the usual new patient paperwork. As I am fully insured and have never had a problem in my 77 years so I did not anticipate any problems. Then on the third page there was a place for my credit card information and the need for me sign approval for HD to keep my credit card on file permanently. This seemed concerning in different ways so I declined. Upon presentation of the paperwork at the desk I was told unless I agreed to my credit card information being permanently held by HD that I could not see the doctor. I left.

I had a wonderful experience at Hendersonville Dermatology. All staff members were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Dr. Cohen was able to quickly diagnose my dermatological concerns and prescribe the appropriate treatment. I also had a great experience with Dr. Selph at a previous visit. The receptionist’s and medical assistants went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this practice.

This is an excellent practice! Dr. Seth Cohen is very patient comfort oriented, explains what is happening, answers patient questions and thoroughly professional in his treatment protocols, including procedures, follow-up and preventive care.
His staff is polite, friendly and helpful in doctor's assistance with the patient. Wait time was minimal. Enjoy your time at Hendersonville Dermatology!! William

I initially went for a second opinion on a confusing biopsy report and suggested treatment plan. Dr. Cohen took the time to explain everything until he knew I was comfortable with my treatment plan and understood my diagnosis. His was knowledgeable and very kind. And his staff is wonderful. They are professional and very friendly, not what you often see in a medical office. I am very thankful I found them.

I’m in my early 70’s, California “beach” kid, scuba instructor for 15 years, always outside and in the sun... not bright about being careful. Have come to know Dr Cohen over the last three years. We’ve been through some “stuff”. Dr Cohen is one of the best Doctors I have ever been associated with. Knows his stuff, skilled, up to date... equally or more important, listens and then communicates. Think about what you want from a Doc, assume competent (which he is in spades).
