Project: Repair a Natural Slate Roof - Fine quality work! Did more work than specified than in the contract, due to a misunderstanding by the workers on the job site, and did not change the price of the job! Repair work of the flashing around the chimney was great - no leaking in the subsequent (very hard) rains.

Developed a severe leak in one of our upstairs bedrooms during the tropical storm, on the same roof we had just repaired last year. After calling multiple companies and having them come out and give me prices… that took my arm & leg, I called Deshazo and Son Roofing, Matt came out within a couple days and explained everything to me in detail. Never got that with other companies. Matt gave me the best price and warranty compared to other companies. Two weeks later they were replacing our flat roof. I needed to replace my roof immediately due to insurance reasons. I called around and got 5 estimates. Matt provided the most clear and concise proposal to me within 24 hours. He took the time to answer all my questions and was able to move around schedules to replace my roof within a week. Deshazo and Son even price matched another offer I received. Matt brought by samples of shingle colors and came by the next day after install to ensure everything looked good. Area was clean when I returned home and skylight was installed beautifully. I was referred to Deshazo by a neighbor after our roof was damaged by hail. We had quotes from several different companies and I am so happy we went with these guys. They replaced the roof and gutters on our old home quickly, cleanly and right on budget. When we bought our new home, I called Matt again to get a roof inspection and his recommendations for repairs. Absolutely the best roofing company in the Richmond area! The front office staff are professional and very friendly. The roofing crew showed up bright and early and never stopped working. A great group of guys with extremely wonderful work ethic.They kept the work site clean and organized. Matt, the project manager is top notch at his job. Our roof… suffered major damage from a storm and our insurance company did their initial inspection and paid out the cost for the damages. DeShazo and Son did a great job reroofing our house and installing new gutters at a great price. They worked with me from start to finish and made sure the roof was done the way I wanted it. I got several… estimates from roofers but DeShazo had the best price and the most detailed proposal using the highest quality material. I researched a lot about roofs and can say that the materials DeShazo uses are the best on the market. The crew worked hard and cleaned up nicely.
