Services
Active Minds Child Care and Preschool provides children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old with quality child care, education and fun experiences! We believe in educating and stimulating young, active minds. Children love attending Active Minds Child Care and Preschool. Each room is specially designed for the age group that uses that room, including age appropriate toys and activities.
Active Minds Child Care and Preschool strives to provide quality child care at an affordable rate. Below are our weekly rates. There is also a $100.00 registration fee per family and a yearly $50.00 materials fee. Please note there is a $100.00 one time registration fee and a yearly $50.00 materials fee.
Toddlers will love attending Active Minds Child Care and Preschool. Each day there are scheduled activities including circle time, which includes exploration of a letter, shape, number, or color, as well as a fun theme for the week. For children attending Active Minds Child Care and Preschool full time, preschool is included with tuition.
Infants have their own room with a care giver ratio of 1:4. Each day teachers read, sing, and use baby sign with your child. Teachers also hold infants while they are using a bottle. Bottles are never propped. There is a lot of cuddle and play time for each child! Infants have a separate sleeping area where they have their own crib.
School aged children love attending Active Minds Child Care and Preschool. Before school children receive breakfast and then transportation is provided to local schools. Once school is finished, children are picked up and return to Active Minds Child Care and Preschool where they receive a healthy snack before starting on any homework they may have.

Here for a more recent review. Active Minds is by far one of the best facilities I’ve worked at. I worked with the pre-school class, and had SO much fun. They provide a safe and creative atmosphere for all ages, no questions asked. So sad I stepped down, but didn’t want to let them go unnoticed!!

I can honestly say that if your child has any sort of disabilities this daycare will not be the right fit for you. My son struggles with SPD & ODD and I communicated that over the phone with the owner, Darci & when I toured with them.. I was told that the owners son has some sort of disability and she knows enough about my sons that she would be… able to help & that his teachers would be understanding of him. During the tour I told April, the threes & closing manager, about my son & some things about him. She assured me that her son also struggles so my son will do really

Finding a quality center for your children or in my case, my granddaughter can be quite a challenge. There are so many boxes to check off when chosing a center. For me, a home away from home atmosphere, cleanliness and quality care are all a must. I am so thankful that my sweet granddaughter gets to have a loving experience and that I know she is safe, loved and cared for. Thank you Active Minds for providing such amazing care for her and for having such an amazing staff!

All of my children attended Active Minds (the youngest one still attends). The teachers are great and there are several that have been there since my kids started coming. They are like family to my children. My children have some challenging behaviors and Active Minds has always shown love and patience, even though they they can be more difficult that typical kids. Whenever there has been an issue, Active Minds has been easy to talk to and have worked with us to be consistent at home and at child care. Our kids love attending. Our middle schooler is still sad that he is too old to go.

The low infant to teacher ratio, extended hours, participation in IdahoSTARS’ quality program, and clean facility initially drew my husband and I to enroll our daughter at Active Minds. However, it has become so much more than that. I feel peace of mind knowing my daughter is safe and well-loved while I’m at work. The teachers and staff are fully… engaged with the kids and love them as if they were their own. I also love receiving the daily digital reports indicating when my daughter ate, slept, and had her diaper changed as it gives me a sense of how her day went.

My kids have been going to Active Minds since they were six weeks old - they are now 3.5 and 2. I couldn’t imagine taking them anywhere else. Everyone from the directors to the teachers love our children like their own, treat them with kindness and respect, and openly communicate with us on a daily basis. It’s never easy as a working parent to send… your child to daycare, but Active Minds is our village. My kids are excited to go to school every day where I know they will be safe, inspired, and loved unconditionally. And the activities the school provides encourages them to learn

This place is amazing, Miss Wendy loves all the children as they were her own....the teachers are extremely loving and caring to the children. Miss Darcy always makes sure the kids have fun trips planned for breaks and summer time,.... they go trick or treating around to the business and the kids have a blast! I highly recommend taking your littles here 💝💙 they will be treated like family!!

My son attended this preschool for 6 months. We felt that communication was poor and there was an “us against them” between the parents and teachers. My son had some issues with behavior. Instead of working with us, I got a tattle report everyday. No real suggestions or hints how I could help or what they were doing in class. We were always available for conferences and did our best to support teachers at the school.
