They always give great massages but the brazillians are a hit or miss. Last one left a bunch of patches and didn't even ask me to check it nor did she clean up spots with tweezers like others have done. Had to go home and shave several areas but luckily none too hard to reach

I was able to book a prenatal massage same day, huge bonus. Everyone was professional and kind, they even offered to extend my massage time when one of the services I had booked online was not available. Will was fantastic, skilled at prenatal massage, and provided a very relaxing but therapeutic experience. I'll definitely be back!

Poor customer service experience. Despite booking an appointment well in advance and receiving multiple confirmations they called less than 3 hours before my appointment to inform me that they made an error with their scheduling system and my appointment was no longer available. They made no offer to reschedule my appointment and the late notice makes it hard to schedule this service at a different salon. Very disappointing experience.

Clean, calm atmosphere. A wonderful environment to get a needed haircut, manicure, or pedicure after a busy day at work. I'm really glad I became a Spa Club member because it ensures I will visit at least once a month. This has turned out to have greater than expected impact on my stress levels. Spa Club has also expanded my comfort zone when I try things beyond my usual because they are options on the club menu of services.

I was a frequent visitor for years. Most of the girls in my family have but I experienced some rudeness today. I did receive a call that my stylist was ill but I was driving all this way to their location to get the needed cut and color and they had called me on the road. I then wanted to speak in person (it is better to speak in person because professionalism is key) and I was barely greeted, the other ladies were taken care of with a smile and when she saw me, she was in instant panic. I felt outcasted for being a patron for so long just for a cut and color that I needed. I love my stylist, but

BAD -- Would Never go there again., nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone else.. Spent $256 at check out. Unbelievable; Very Very Short BLUNT cut on coarse hair.
So short, I don't think there is enough hair to have someone correct the bad hair cut.
(To the Salon management; where are your "Critical Thinking Skills??!
You are believing anything you are told over the phone by people you do not know?!)

So this is the best salon in Rockford

I went in for a no chip mani and pedi. It was the worst pedicure I ever received. They didn't do any type of buffing to get rid of rough skin on the toes. They hardly even cleaned the nails. The shape was wavey and uneven. I actually had to take the file to round the nail myself. Then the no chip polish didn’t even last three days. The other employees were completely unprofessional doing each other’s nails while they should have been working. It took 3 hours and they charged me $117. I will never recommend or go back.

If you are ever in need of a prenatal massage Charlie is the best! I came here for my first prenatal massage and left feeling like a brand new person with no body aches and stress free. She used some foam pieces so I could lay belly down without putting weight on my belly. I decided to give Weiss Morris a try for my next prenatal massage and it was no where near as good as the massage I got from Charlie and they had me on my side which I felt caused me more pain and discomfort. Asha Salon massages are more expensive, but in my opinion completely worth it!

I'm giving this place one star and that's too much! I went there to ask for just a trim and they said from $50-$60 for a TRIM people, because it's the level or skill the girl has!! I left extremely disappointed. But before that they said they didn't have any appointments and there was like literally 6 girls at the front desk. Doing absolutely NOTHING. Do not go here. They overcharge and have poor customer service. You would think that for that much, they would also have good skills at customer service. What a joke!

You will not find a better colorist in the Rockford area than Maureen at Asha spa. I get many compliments on my shiny highlights. She only works on Thursdays, so book ahead!

After a very bad experience at another salon, I went to Asha for a complete redo on my hair. Jordyn was amazing! She fixed the color just like I wanted, she recommended a mask for my hair and was just so friendly! Actually, everyone in the salon was very friendly. I'm so glad I called and they were able to get me in the same day. I'll definitely be back and I'm happy I finally found someone I can trust to do my hair.

I had the best experience here. Everyone was super friendly and professional. I got a full highlight done by Prattana and it turned out amazing. Prices were great too. Can't wait to come back!

The massages are wonderful. The service is sweet. Had a wonderful technician for a no chip polish French manicure. Seemed a bit pricey. They did do a repair at the sixth day because it had started to come up. I'm just shy of two weeks and here are photos to show but it wore good and I did like the way it looked.

Came for a no chip manicure and spent $40+ on a job I could have done better myself. I am from out of state typically get SNS and figured their no chip would be comparable. I was very wrong. The polish is uneven and has began to chip after just 2 days.

I love this place but the only thing I don't like is the fact you can't tip your hair/wax person on your debit card! It's such an inconvenience especially if you don't have cash or want to pay an ATM service charge or write a check which really puts me off to this place!

I have been going to Asha for years-mainly using the spa services. This past spring, I decided to try a new haircut for my naturally curly hair.
Ashley left my hair looking fabulous. I like that she takes the time to explain the products she uses. Her product recommendations improved the appearance of my hair and helped in maintaining the style.
As always, I am looking forward to our next appointment.

This is the most amazing spa. I've never been to a spa that has such talented people working in EVERY area of the salon! You cannot get a bad service. Kim is the best nail tech EVER - she is a perfectionist and also gives the best leg massages with your pedicures. Kaitlyn, Melisa and Nicole are also extremely talented. The best part is, many of them specialize in multiple services so you can get your nails, hair and even facials done with the same technician. Asha Rockford truly is a one-stop shop and you will not be disappointed!

Excellent service. Hair cut was top notch. Eyebrowl wax was perfection. Love the products. Hidden gem in a travelers need of pampering for last minute event. So grateful. Sending love from Seattle.

After a string of bad salon experiences in Rockford, going to Asha was like an oasis of hope. Kim was professional, friendly, efficient, and conversation never felt strained. Not once did she make me feel bad for taking four hours of her time. You could tell she really knew her stuff, and I couldn't be happier with the way my hair turned out. I love that she was confident enough to tell me what my hair needed instead of the other way around. The head/neck/hand massage sealed the deal for me... finally found my salon and stylist!

I was able to get a walk-in appointment for a weekday night because they are open until 9pm. I had a manicure with Angi and she was very friendly and did an excellent job on my nails. She took her time and I never felt rushed. I scheduled a pedicure appointment with Angi a few days later, and it was fabulous! I also loved how clean the salon was! It has a very calming environment and looks very modern. Their prices are competitive and the quality is well worth what you pay for!

Got an hour long Asha massage by Alidia and I've gotta say that was the best massage yet! I highly recommend this place as well as this masseuse.

Most of the reviews are outdated but were accurate for the time. However, as a loyal customer I have noticed that the standards of this establishment have suffered. The nail stations are dusty and the receptionists overbooked during two of my visits. In one instance they bumped me off the nail station halfway through my appointment because a bridal party came in early. My nail tech had to finish the job standing up in the hair color area. The worst of it was when the lead receptionist had the gull to blame me for the overlap in appointments stating that I was "asking for too much by expecting

I've been in their spa club for almost two years. I've been pretty happy with them. I love Paulette and Teisha! Reasonable pricing and the only shower spa place that offer two hour massage. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is locker/ changing room is a too small. And I wouldn't mind if the bathroom is not in the changing room meaning if it was divided in a few steps away or has its own area. This review is for the day spa body massage side.

I was so happy to finally receive courteous and prompt service from a manager at Asha regarding a problem I'd had with a spray (airbrush) tan (extensively explained in the previous update). I believe her name was Katie, and I did have to call in and contact her myself (no one ever did return my call), however as soon as she heard my story, she immediately apologized and offered to refund my card for the full amount or to give me a gift card for the same amount. This was exactly what I wanted and I was grateful that she recognized the problem, apologized, and handled it quickly and professionally

This salon/spa is an Aveda concept salon. Brand new to the Cherry Valley Mall - District (Outside strip mall). The decor is very modern in the hair/nail area. Kind of the 60s meets earthy. It is a medium sized salon. The scalp and hand massage w/the hair service is nice.

The stylists seem nice and they do a good job. Most of the workers seem to be in their 20s wearing black and white. The music is rather loud and pulsating for a relaxing environment. However in the spa area, it is candle lit and extremely relaxing. In fact the spa seems to be it's own environment which I liked very much.
