More and more people are discovering solar energy in Washington State, and there has never been a better time to invest in solar electricity. Cascadia Solar is committed to helping our customers participate in the renewable energy future by building high quality, high performance, and attractive solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for homes, businesses, and public buildings.
Every one of our customers has a unique set of requirements, starting with the possibilities of the building site, and including solar resource, budget, energy goals, and aesthetic concerns. We are authorized dealers for a broad range of solar equipment, and we are not obligated by exclusive sales agreements to push a specific product.
We will start with a phone call, typically 20-30 minutes, to discuss your site using satellite images. This will give us an idea of available space and potential shading issues. By the end of this discussion, you should have a preliminary idea on what type of solar array might be possible at your site, a ballpark cost estimate, and potential payback through energy savings and incentive payments.
Cascadia Solar installs grid-tied solar power systems throughout Jefferson, Kitsap, and Clallam counties. Grid-tied solar systems are connected directly to your utility's electrical grid, using electricity from both the solar panel system and the electrical grid. If needed, your home can draw energy from the grid on cloudy days or at night, when solar panels are not producing at full efficiency.
Cascadia Solar installs and maintains emergency backup solar power systems throughout Jefferson, Kitsap, and Clallam counties. We all know or can imagine the inconvenience of losing power during a storm or natural disaster. However, by utilizing an emergency backup solar power system, your household can continue to function, providing a sense of security and resilience.

Dave at Cascadia Solar really knows his stuff and is very easy going. He drew up three different proposals for us that were incredibly complete, including several different options for the equipment. We were not locked into one panel supplier/manufacture for example. Knowing that Fredrickson Electric is doing the work is also reassuring. Their craftsmanship is really impressive. Cascadia Solar has done two solar installations at our home. They are thorough, professional and great communicators. Throughout the projects, from concept to final design, pricing and installation it has been a great experience. On the latest 4.8 kilowatt addition to our prior 8 kilowatt system, the installation was quick, clean and very professionally done. Cascadia Solar just completed the installation of a solar system at my house. They were really great to work with, explaining all the options carefully and completely, they were flexible enough to do things exactly the way we wanted, and they installed everything quickly (and did a beautiful job). Everything went without a hitch, except for a slight delay imposed by the Covid19 pandemic, when the installers weren't allowed to work. We did a lot of research on solar systems and considered doing the panel installation ourselves after getting some sky high bids for the total job. Having been very happy with Frederickson Electric on a remodel we did we called to get an estimate on doing just the electrical portion of the job and learned that the solar portion of their business had become Cascadia Solar.
