Dr. David Bates is a second-generation dentist who was born and raised in the Minneapolis area. He attended dental school at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Bates worked extensively with children in underserved areas of California with the USC Mobile Clinic.
Anna joined the Loop Dental team as a Licensed Dental Assistant in 2018. She graduated from Herzing University in 2015 and is a member of the dental assistant's association. Anna enjoys helping patients with treatment and providing great care. Outside of the office Anna enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Such an overall great experience, I have had a few consultations now as well as treatments and I felt I was in good hands for all of it. The environment is so clean and COVID cautious. The staff were all excellent and answered my questions, Dr. Hannon is so personable and made me feel at ease but also very professional. I highly recommend!

My experience at Loop Dental was great. Olivia was my hygienist and she was so kind and walked me through each step of my cleaning/checkup. Olivia took her time and really worked hard to get rid of some stains on my teeth which were bothering me for a while. Also the office is super clean and everyone is friendly.

We have been coming Loop Dental for several months after moving to the twin cities. I knew we needed to find a dentist for the family, but dragged my feet until life kicked me in the pants - An old filling had crack open and it was a bad scene in there.
I called Loop and they fit me in the next day and did a wonderful job fixing the damage, replacing my filling etc. I have since been back as have my wife and son for routine cleanings and they are fantastic every time.
The office is also a breath of fresh air. I am so used to the old fashioned dentist office that is sterile, cramped, with 80&apos

Top notch service, I was able to do my first consult with Dr Bates who was very attentive and informative on my dental treatment plan. The staff is very receptive and friendly right from Sarah the Manager who received me, to Jamie the assistant and Ben who clearly articulated the estimate of my costs at the end of my consult - did I mention state of the art clean facility. Glad I found Loop Dental!

Loop Dental made the entire process so easy right from the start of scheduling. My appointment was scheduled quickly, and I was provided multiple reminders. I was able to fill out a detailed client questionnaire prior to the appointment which allowed me to be directly seen with no additional wait times or paperwork. I cannot recommend the team at Loop Dental highly enough. The entire staff from the front desk, to the dentists, to the hygienists are top of the line. State of the art equipment, quick and efficient appointments, and excellent customer service. I must also mention my amazing hygienist Brooke who is truly a joy to work with. She does excellent work (my smile has never looked better), is a blast to talk with during my appointments, and makes going to the dentist something I not only don't mind, I honestly look forward to it. If you need a dentist, look no further.

I left Minnesota in August for California. Laura had contacted me, late fall, and said she thought I hadn't gotten enough covered from Atena for the work I had done at Loop Dental (amazing place period- everyone). She battled hard and emerged victoriously- with $165.
To show you my perspective of the work she did for me: I require two bags of Chemo every third week at $13,000.00 per bag

I've been here once, but won't be back. It's a good dental office, and one I would recommend to others, with some caveats.
The good: a nice, clean new office; friendly, professional staff; good, modern equipment, including digital x-rays which are displayed to the patient on the spot. My experience of a cleaning and dental x-rays here was positive.

I have never been fond of dentists. I received excellent care from Dr. Bates and the Loop Dental staff. They fixed my cracked crown right away. It was basically painless. They went above and beyond just to insure I was comfortable. Dr Bates called the next day to make sure all was well. I will definitely be returning for my annual care.

I am a nurse, I have great dental insurance and I scheduled a 10 am appointment on my late day, it was a month from when I scheduled this and I have a confirmation email from them for the 10 am , then a week before my SCHEDULED appointment they sent me something stating I now have an 11:20 am appointment and so I called and they apologized however they still tried to push an 11:20 am appointment the following week, I said AGAIN no this will not work, I have 2 children and a 5 day 10 hour a day work schedule , I work in family practice I wish I had all day so that you can "squeeze other people

Loop Dental does an amazing job! I've been in 4 times over the last month or so to get a bunch of work done. Each time was a pleasant experience. Dr. Bates is friendly, warm, and very gentle. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to educate you about what's going on in your mouth. The rest of the staff are very kind as well! They really master the art of personal care here. Best dental experience of my life!

This was my second visit at Loop Dental with Dr. Bates. Phenomenal service. Everyone that works here is pleasant, professional and competent. I've had one cleaning and also had 2 fillings redone. They were very helpful in working with my insurance. I can't recommend them enough. I live in the loop now, but even if I move outside of the cities, this is my dentist.

Love this place- it's unlike any dentist's office I've been to before. Everyone (including the receptionist, hygienist, and dentists) was extremely friendly and helpful. They really took the extra time to make sure I understood exactly what they were talking about. Dr. Bates neatly laid out the procedures I need to have and prioritized everything- without any sort of pressure or judgment. The office itself is also beautiful, very clean, and modern. So happy to have such an amazing dental office in North Loop!!

Great! I've seen Dr. Bates for several years now at their original location (and his father before that). They have a fantastic team that have always been accommodating and friendly. Today I chipped a tooth and they put in a filling within hours. So helpful! I also love their clean, modern office and the new convenient location. I've already started recommended Loop Dental to my friends and coworkers.

Had a great experience with Dr Bates. In town for a few weeks and walked by the office, so decided to stop in to ask if they could help with some dental work. They went above I expected providing great service and setting up a plan of care while I am in town. Dr Bates explained everything while he was doing it and and was very thorough. Felt like I received the best care.
