Overall we love Elan. Their apartments are beautiful, the amenities are great, and their maintenance is available when you need them. BUT, their security system is LACKING. I never feel safe here with, no cameras in hallways or enough in garages, people’s cars are broken into, people’s packages are stolen, a storage closet right across from us was broken into, I’m constantly seeing fist fights by the dog park, domestic violence from the neighbors, and so much more. This is officially a low housing apartment now . Lacy who was responsible for this , messed up on managing the property so they had to sell it to the section 8 housing programs . There are homeless encampment across the street and thefts every single night . Lacy who was in charge , is getting sued because one of the residents got mugged in the elevator and refused to show footage . Avoid this area just look on Yelp

Michael was very rude and unprofessional. The apartment that I applied for online stated that it was on the fourth floor, corner unit, last one... so in that case it was perfect for us and we were willing to move in 3 1/2 weeks earlier that we needed to to lock the home in. Later, finding out that the home was actually on the 2nd floor which is something that makes us uncomfortable and unwilling to move in over 3 week over for. I requested to have my original move in date accommodated and that was ignored. Then they stated that that can do a little over a week( which was still over 2 weeks shy

There has been an increase of unwanted guests who roam the halls stealing packages and bikes. A package was stolen from my doorstep caught on video ,along with footage from a neighbor close by, which captured the man stuffing it into his sweatshirt. Management has received many complaints in the past for security but nothing really changes. Occasionally you see the late night security doing their route or you can catch them hanging out in their car until the shift is over. It’s a great experience with the amount of rent being put into this establishment.

Horrible leasing office. disorganized and horrible communication skills. they can not keep anything straight. it seems like there’s someone new working there every month cause the job they have is not well managed. the only good thing about the building is the maintenance workers who go above and beyond. They are amazing. everything else is poor. the people here do not respect the building. the parking is atrocious and not managed. location is poor as it’s on a busy main street that’s dangerous. seems like homeless people are always sleeping on the property and i don’t blame them. Lacy has gone above and beyond to help me get settled in - I just moved in a couple months ago and with Covid, things should've been stressful, but Lacy was so helpful and responsive. She even went as far to write down all the packages I was supposed to receive to make sure my packages someone was available to receive the packages while I go to work every day.
