It's a nice house and complex. Expensive but nice. But if something breaks, they will take a while to get it fixed (call box was not working for almost 3 weeks) and manager is always out of office. We gave a big deposit and are getting 1/3 back, but we moved out 1 month and 14 days ago and still didn't get the deposit back. Every time we ask they say that they sent the check already, that's not professional. Do not recommend

Nice location, just too much bulls*** to deal with the company running the apartments. Have had issues since day one when we moved in. Main issue is that there is no parking. Most people park outside their garages but sometimes the city comes in and give tickets for being parked in a “red zone” for the amount of rent we pay there should be little to any issues. So honestly unless you really want to deal with faulty wiring, no parking and a million of excuses move in here it will be perfect match for your needs.

I do not understand any of the bad reviews. This place is an amazing place to live. The Management team run by Josh is incredibly helpful with any needs you may have. Surfside villas is currently under a multi million dollar reno. So far it looks amazing!! Location could not be better. 5 min. bike ride from beach. 1 min drive. Highly recommend living here!!

I enjoyed living at Surfside Villas. The management was easy to contact and any issues were handled in a timely manner.
Pros: Access to restaurants, bars and the beach. Big open windows that catches the breeze coming off the ocean. Good management and maintenance.
Cons: Ants! No dishwasher in my unit - however, some have this feature. Amenities (no pool, out of date gym).
If I was ever to move back to HB I would check this place for vacancies before looking anywhere else.
