Glamour Pets is owned and managed by Kim (Ehalt) Osmonson. Kim grew up in Minnetrista on a small hobby farm just a couple miles from Mound. Animals have always been a part of her life, with horses in her younger days, and dogs & cats being ever present. She started her grooming career in Long Lake, Mn in 1984.

After becoming a General Manager of 6 Franchise Salons, Kim took a leap and opened Glamour Pets in 1995. By 2005 she was able to obtain her Grandfathers property and moved her Salon into the cottage he'd built in 1953 on Commerce Boulevard in Mound. Kim has been providing grooming services for the Mound-Westonka area for over 23 years with overflowing love and attention to the animals she grooms.

We've used this groomer a number of times with varying results. Sometimes it can be hard to get ahold of them to set an appointment, but they do have a really slick drop off and pick-up system that is covid safe and really quick and we can generally get an appt fairly quickly. I'm not a fan of the scent my dog comes home with and I keep forgetting to ask if they can skip a product or use unscented instead. Overall, they do a decent job and the dog is willing to go back again. We aren't fussy about the evenness of trimming or special style cuts. If you are, you might want to discuss that ahead of

Frankie is not a big fan of groomers so it is hard to get him to go in the front door. She comes out and gets him and he goes right in and is well behaved for her. She has a calm assertive energy that works amazing.

I wouldn't take my cat Shadow any where else. The owner Kim and her staff are very kind and busy people. Very good with my cat. Highly reccommend.

I love this little house that takes care of my Border Collie, Piper. They are quick and efficient and Piper comes home a new and more beautiful dog. They take all sizes and the prices are reasonable. I love their positive attitudes about each dog and mine feels right at home.
I trust them to do a great job and haven't been disappointed yet.
