Services
Owner, Jennifer Anderson is a Nationally Certified Master Groomer, with 20 years of experience. Nearly all of that has been working with both dogs and cats. Jennifer has groomed thousands of cats during that time, since she was usually the only groomer at each salon that did cats. Groomers and Veterinarians all over the Twin Cities refer cats to Jennifer.
In our salon in Richfield, we offer services as packages and ala carte. We go at the cat's pace to ensure a positive experience, usually a 2.5 hour stay. Rush services where we only work on your cat with no interruptions (60 min stay) are available for an extra fee with prior arrangement. Our salon has never, and will never have a dog in it, reducing fear and stress during your cat's groom.
Boarding for well loved cats! At The Cat's Meow you won't find barking dogs or tiny steel cages. Our suites are designed and decorated with cat behavior in mind. We only have 16 suites. This means we have plenty of time to spend with each cat daily, and every cat gets time out of their suite. No interaction is ever allowed between cats, cats are only allowed with their feline family members and our staff.
This quality comb features rotating steel teeth to help make it easier to get out light matting or dead hair. Comfort grip for owners and this larger size is for cats over 10 lbs or owners with larger hands. Best suited for medium and longhair cats. This 5 inch cat comb is a professional quality comb with rotating steel pins.
Well if by groom, you mean cover their body in saliva and swallow their own hair, then yes! Unfortunately, their saliva does not contain any magical enzymes, shampoo, a comb, or nail clipper. So cats often suffer from matted coats, dandruff, grease and oils, litterbox odor and leavings, long sharp claws, fleas, hairballs, and shedding hair EVERYWHERE.

Outstanding experiences with both grooming and boarding. We have a high maintenance Norwegian forest cat and they make her look great every time. We completely trust them and recommend them for boarding as well because she always comes home in great shape (and glad to see us, which is not always the case!)

Ratchet was so much happier after her lion cut. Both she and I have a really hard time keeping up with her grooming, so we decided to bring her in. We will be back regularly to keep it up. She is so very cuddly now and purrs more. She is usually terrified of new people, but the staff must be cat whisperers because both times I’ve taken her in they said she did well. She won’t tolerate a bath, and I appreciate that they didn’t push her. We will be back every 4 months or so. :)

Amazing cat grooming! The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They do an amazing job with my cat Sage who has a long thick coat and needs special deshedding treatments. She is always happier after she gets groomed here and her coat looks great! I love that everything is low stress too so she doesn’t get anxious. Love them!

I’m so upset about my first experience with this company. I had waited several months to get my cat into this place. When the day came THEY canceled my appointment and charged me $25 for no reason! I did not authorize this charge so I will disputing it with my bank. I was really excited that I had found a all cat groomer at first but now I don’t think I will ever be a customer to them after this experience.

My wife brought our cat here for a customized cut. She had asked if a lion cut can be customized, in which she was told yes. She gave a very in-depth description of how she wanted our cat to be groomed. The lady checking her in agreed to her requests and took our cat.
I picked our cat up and brought him home not knowing what my wife had… specifically asked for, when I removed him from his cat carrier I was shocked at how he looked, immediately called my wife to tell her how bad the haircut looked and asked what she told them to do.
