Grew up in the Jewish section of the Bronx and in my 50's now so have tasted my share of Challah's.
I discovered Zucker's and it is by far THE best Challah! It is top quality, it is more dense which i love and the egg glaze is the best i have ever had! Jeffrey ...you have yourself a new customer! Outstanding! Made Challah french toast with the sliced loaf this morning and it was brilliant! Absolutely delicious! Many thanks and blessings to you! See you soon!

I finally found a local chall that is delicious! No more Whole Foods challah for us. Love supporting this local business. Also, the cinnamon bread is absolutsly delicious- have them slice it for you! Reminds me of childhood.
Yes, it's sketchy on the inside. They aren't going for ambiance here. But the kitchen is very clean, and the challah and cinnamon bread are delicious. CASH ONLY!
If you are passing by the Dunkin' Donuts/Scoops Ice Cream on Lowell street in Peabody (it's behind there), and have $5- get the cinnamon bread.

They are a small business on Lake St in Peabody next to a Chinese restaurant, a Dance Studio, and a Driving School.
It is a bit sketchy on the inside, but really, it's the CHALLAH everyone comes here for. They have amazing challah! Actually, it's best I've ever had. And I have a lot of Jewish friends. I'm not even Jewish and I am raving about their challah rolls! I love toasting challah bread and eating it for breakfast. Get the individual rolls! They follow baker's hours so get there early, when the challah is piping hot and soft and yummy!
