Dave Allen, owner, founder and, operator of Auto Express, was born and raised in Boise, ID. Finishing high school early, Dave moved to Laramie, Wyoming to attend Wyotech where he graduated at the top of his class obtaining his degrees in Collision, Refinishing and Street Rod & Custom Fabrication. After returning to Boise for the next 12 years, Dave worked at two major auto body shops in the Treasure Valley where he learned to perfect his skills.

I had some minor damage that I wanted fixed before moving out of state. Auto Express was able to get me in with within a week. My car was repaired quickly and looks great. They even fixed a few small dings, which was an unexpected surprise. Friendly, professional, great work. I highly recommend them.

Well, everyone is correct, 5+ stars to David, his crew and shop.
I happened to stumble on his shop when I was getting lunch next door at the Great Harvest Bread Company (another 5 start experience) and I had been looking for a body shop.
David was pleasant, professional, calm, friendly, direct and above all....honest. His quote was less than half of what the dealership quoted me. My appointment was soon and repairs were completely quickly.
I added some work at drop-off and he was glad to add the service. I also stopped by during repair and asked for an accessory to be added, no problem at all

I was tapped by another car at an intersection and did not want to get the insurance company involved. I went to the auto body shop who has been doing my work in the past. A person I had not worked with before gave me an estimate of $2,586.12. At the recommendation of my mechanic, I took it to auto express, LLC and Dave Allen the owner. He quoted me $994.72. I just picked up the car and it has been repaired beautifully. I would absolutely give Dave and his company the highest possible rating. In addition to all that is very friendly and helpful.

STOP!!! Before going any further READ THIS: I discovered Auto Express via Yelp. I submitted a quote request through the app and Auto Express responded within minutes.
I had already identified other body shops in the area with 5 star reviews, so I added Auto Express to the list for getting a quote. I'm so glad I did because it was obvious Dave has the best kind of OCD - attention every detail and the need to fix the problem.
Immediately he fixed a hanging part of the wheel well while he was inspecting the damage. I had a dent to the rear bumper and needed it to look like nothing had happened

I recently had Dave do some paint repair on my white F-250. I had some clear coat failing. Dave was able to get the affected area repainted quickly with excellent results. The color matching and blending with the rest of the vehicle is great. Unless it's pointed out, you can't tell where the work was performed which was great. I also had a couple of tiny dents repaired while I was there. (paintless dent repair) While one came out perfectly, the other came out about 90%. Since the dent repair was not done perfectly I was not charged for that particular dent. Dave's work was reasonably priced and

I was passing through on my way to Reno and the day before I had clipped my bumper backing out of a parking spot and it pulled out some of the snaps on the front right bumper. I was able to drive but I happened to stop for breakfast next door and noticed this place, so I walked in, not expecting for them to just drop everything and help, but he did come took a look to see what/if he could do anything. 10 minutes later my bumper was back to normal and he was able to clip everything back into place

I had a great experience at this business. I had a replacement grill to put on my 2018 Ford F-150. These folks were great! I was able to message them on-line and they responded much faster then expected. I got a basic price quote and was able to make an appointment for the next day. They were easy to find... right on Fairview near Curtis Rd. in Boise. The owners were very customer friendly and courteous. The work was done quickly and professionally. I will definitely use them again if needed and I highly recommend them !
