Wave Crest Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 122-bed facility specializing in skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

Working with referring physicians to issue progress reports or update treatments and care as needed. If you want love care and respect for your family. This is not the place. My mother was at this “place” and I can’t describe how awful it was. My mother sat in her fences for 45 minutes before I had to come and change her myself, then threaten to call the police on me. The type of of neglect is unheard of. Sadly my mother passed and we still have no answers as to what were her last moments because even with my lawyer the refuse to give us anything.
Her bed sores were the worst I had ever seen then while she was in this “place”. People please save your family member and send them anywhere

My husband was here for less than a month. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a place in all my life. They talk a good talk. The entire time he was in quarantine for the two weeks he would call me at all times of day/night to have me call them to come in and clean him up as he is a paraplegic. He was put into a regular room that conveniently had no phone so then he was unable to call me about anything. They said the cordless would be available and never was. I talked to him twice in 5 days. He had a follow appt with his surgeon after out of quarantine and Wavecrest had removed his wound vac that

Not one to normally leave reviews but this center deserves a 5 star. Upon my family member electing facility, I was a bit hesitant because it’s an older building, but I’m glad we went with Wave Crest. Staff is so efficient! Any concerns We had were addressed immediately. You are really treated like family! Folks in admissions go above and beyond to make things happen. Great therapy Program. Thank you to the ladies in therapy for Making it possible for my loved one to get strong enough to come home with family.

I wanted to take the time to thank Wave Crest Health and Rehab for the wonderful care they gave my father. Their dialysis and therapy program really helped my father during his time there after he discharged the hospital. May father’s ultimate goal was to get better and strong to return home and Wave Crest did exactly that, which made me really happy because his wishes were heard. The staff that cared for us were terrific and kind.

Upon reading all the other comments, Comes to show that the first thing we do as people is look at the bad. Not everyone will have the same experience but It has been a pleasure to experience such great and efficient staff. Just like me I’m sure there are others that have had great experiences but forget to actually come on here and share. This facility deserves more positive reviews. The building might not be the newest but the staff surely makes up for it. I would definitely recommend Wave Crest. Definitely treated like part of the family.

I have to say that although my mom was only there for a little bit over two weeks before she passed this facility and it's staff, from the social services to all the nurses were absolutely amazing. These people in this facility treated me and my wife like family from the minute my mom was transferred there . Wave Creast will always be in my heart for their compassion. God bless all of you .

Although most of the staff were very professional and exceptionally nice to my husband during his stay, Glenn, one of the RN's actually told him that "if he has to take as much medication as he's given, he obviously is on the wrong medication" and then was combative with me when I confronted him about it. We reported this to administration but wasn't satisfied with the outcome.
The food was so awful that I took at least one good meal a day (usually dinner) to my husband and a friend that he had made in the facility as well.
