I’ve been a member since Mike first opened so many many years and this location ( since it is the corporate office) has the best beds.
But I also frequent the location at Sierra College and good beds too.
Most of the employees are really nice. As it’s sales so they seem to run through a lot of staff so some attitude expected I guess.
All in all a great way to relax with a little sis time.

Actually the only reason why I come to the salons for some girls go upbove BUT I HAD A BED ACTUALLY FALL ON MY HEAD AND THE MAIN OFFICE SAID WELL IT WILL HAPPEN and THEY DONT TAKE CARE OF THERE CUSTOMER LIKE THEY SHOULD. CA Sun Management needs to take a look at how they r running this business. Missing equipment (out for repair) even though they had MONTHS to get everything up and running (COVID) and only 1 employee working during a very busy time. The poor girl had a constant line to the door and was also responsible for cleaning beds. She was great...but whoever is managing the store needs a wake up call.

I like the tanning and the services they offer. No one offers what they do at one salon. Well at least I haven't found another place. Most business show some appreciation for long time customers. I think its absolutely ridiculous that you won't remove a credit card processing fee the one time my card gets declined for my Ambassadors membership. I have had a membership here for 10 years, and an Ambassador membership for at least 4 of those years. Yes, it makes sense that for someone who chronically has payment issues, you can't waive the fee. For someone who has never missed a payment, it shows

Stay away from these places. They are a rip off. I would not sign up to this place. They charge you hidden fees they never explained when you sign up. I used my membership for 1 month then Covid hit in March and haven't been since. They didn't even tell me they were open again which was June and they just charged my card without asking if people were comfortable or not coming back right away. I called as soon as I saw the charge and wanted to cancel which I would have gotten a full refund. The lady on the phone said we could just freeze your account for only $5 a month which was June

I love California Sun! I've been coming here for about a month now, and every visit has been wonderful.
I decided to add tanning to my gym routine to remind me of my circa 2004 days. Nothing better than laying in a bed after a good workout. Taylor got me set up with the top package. I started at 5 minutes and have been working my way up, adding time and trying new beds. The employees have been giving me great recommendations with the different beds and what to try.
I've only had one adverse reaction, but it was my fault for having Cetaphil lotion on from earlier in the day. When I

The beds are wonderful, however, something has been occurring in regards to their staffing and the amount of time you have to wait for a bed. Each time I have come in, there is a line out the door even though their are plenty of clean and empty beds. Potentially they need to go back to having two staff members working at a time because this has been absolutely ridiculous.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is horrible. My daughter and I came to spray tan. WHILE I WAITED for her to get sprayed, I decided to add another service of a bed tan. I finished well before she did. To my surprise, the rude worker named Chelsie told me in laughing manner to get at the end of the line. Apparently 6 people came in for a spray tan while I was in the bed tan. I expected to be next after my daughter came out. I was not. I was told I would have to wait over an hour.

I couldn't disagree more with some of these negative reviews. I understand each person may have different experiences, but Chelsie is nothing BUT friendliness, professional and attentive. Every time I come, I am greeted with the biggest smile and a genuine caring attitude. SHE makes me glad I go there and is the reason why I don't go anywhere else. Not to mention, the spray tan I get there is GORGEOUS!!! I have had to wait briefly, but it is only because they are helping the customers already there and giving them TOP NOTCH customer service. I had the BEST experience last night with Camila!
Went in just to get some quotes and ended up getting a tour and all the information I needed. She took the time to explain everything and made sure all my questions were answered. Now I am a member and had a really good first time tanning! Can't wait to go back. Thanks Camila!!

Absolutely love the employees that work here! A lot of the time I see the Manager working and she always greets me with a smile and asks how my day is going and will talk to me for awhile about things going on in the salon, promotions, new deals and lotions. She always makes you feel like you are just the person she wanted to see. Everyone that works here is amazing and helpful. Whatever California Sun is doing, keep it up! I've never been happier with the experiences I've had since I signed up! Will definitely continue coming here!

The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean, however, it is quite a hit and miss to use the sauna (cocoon). Several times I went in (to use the sauna) and there would be 2 people ahead of me using it making it at least a 45 minute wait, which I didn't have the time to wait and I would have to walk away..... not fun. Or I would get there and the person walking right in front of me would want to use the sauna. So it's a real hit and miss. They have a lot of members and only one sauna.
I also tried the red-light and broke out from the products, which apparently make it work better

Horrible experience. Got a spray tan and took off my rings and forgot I set them down. Called to let them know I forgot and I would come right back for them and they said no sorry rings aren't here. I mentioned there was one girl working and was there anything else they could do. The manager told me "'ma'am this is not our fault" and that was her only help. Filed a police report and the manager told me there was no use because it wouldn't do anything because there's no cameras. Horrible customer service from corporate. I really want ti be able to give them a better rating but it's 3:30 PM on a Friday and there is one person working and 5 of us in line and thw worker is spending all her time signing up a new guest. I understand gaining new customers but can't you check some of us in while she fills out paperwork? SMH.. Say something to us at least.. after 30 min I'll go to another Cal Sun.

Two stars is for cleanliness and friendliness of staff, however BEWARE what you sign up for and although I was told certain things and read the contract to what I thought carefully, there are things that are misleading.
It's a 6 month minimum term and was told I only need to do it for 6 months. But now it's basically 7 months because they don't count the first time of enrollment bc it wasn't full payment for them.
