Services
Our mission is to provide a refreshing and memorable outdoor experience for families, friends and organizations. We hope you will enjoy the peace that comes with the fresh air of a crisp fall day. Montgomery Orchard bloomed in the mind of owner, Scott Wardell, and transcended into reality when the first section of apple orchard, Orchard A, was planted in 1999.
Visit Montgomery Orchard to try and taste our delectable selection of homemade wines and ciders. Our ciders and wines are made from apples grown right here in the farm orchard. Our cider house is open from Labor Day to Halloween on Saturdays and Sundays. Come taste our award winning plum wine. Northern Trek: It's a sparkling dry cider made with Zestar, Honeycrisp, Honeygold and Haralson apples.
The fun, sprawling maze at Montgomery Orchard, is a great way to spend some time at the place in between all the apple-y goodness. One side of the corn maze is shorter and will only take about a half hour to complete, which makes for a great fun alternative for families with small children. Visit us to enjoy our one-of-a-kind, two-part corn maze, which covers a total of 6 acres of land!
Looking for a wonderful way to spend an Autumn day with the family? You'll love our fun activities and regular events. The orchard at Montgomery Orchard, is a large part of the experience, but a small part of the actual tree farm, only taking up less than a tenth of the acreage.

In this expanded area, you are welcome to tour our mowed paths where you may observe the various prairie grasses, wild flowers, trees, and wildlife including many of Minnesota's magnificent birds, mammals, and amphibians.Join us for a hay ride through our designated wildlife area, which is pulled by an antique tractor.

My wife and I visited Montgomery Orchard this year to do the corn maze (shaped like a wood duck this year) with our little boy. The maze was fun and challenging enough to keep it interesting. There were trivia questions every so often to help you learn more about wood ducks, which our son enjoyed. We also picked some honey crisp apples and purchased some wine, hard cider, and sweet cider...all of which has been tasty! I can easily see my wife and I making this a yearly visit each fall. The prices can seem a bit high, but I think the experience and unique flavors make up for them. :)

Great place, beautiful day, and a good corn maze! Be sure to be up on Wood Duck trivia before you go! Ciders and wines were delicious too.

Super cute set up. Nice people. However...the bathroom was really dirty and there was a ton of fruit flies. Cider was room temperature and flat- maybe this is how it's supposed to be, but it wasn't very good.

While this orchard is small they have a great selection of wine and cider! The owner was so kind. Running around and making sure everything was going well. We will definitely be back!

Fun road trip to Montgomery Orchard. Signs on the way say the road is closed, but it’s not as of our visit today 9/28/19. It’s open and a nice place to visit.

I was pretty excited to come here. Well, it was rainy so the corn maze was out. We had also planned on apple picking and the cider house. Well, it goes wrong here and pretty much from one employee. First, the instructions where to pick were not clear. There are rows and rows of Honey Crisp apples and it sounded like we were to pick from the front. Having time to kill we took a short stroll through the part we were to pick from.
I am nearly 100% certain we ended up picking from the correct location. This would be hard to discern as the entire honey crisp apple area has a orange line around it not

Great honeycrisp apples to pick. Really nice and affordable hard cider/wine tasting flight. I try to come here at least once every year. It’s always been worth it.
