Services
Carmelo is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with caregivers who do their work out of a place of compassion and respect for our residents. Our staff is highly trained, initially and ongoing. Our night staff conduct hourly checks on our residents and assist with any restroom and medication needs at night.
When you and your loved ones are first greeted at Carmelo Park, you are being welcomed in by the Owners of our community. When your loved ones are residing with us, they are being cared for by excellent staff with decades of elder care experience. When you move into Carmelo Park, you become part of our family, not a part of a large company.
Hear what health care professionals, family members, and our residents have to say about Carmelo Park. The staff at Carmelo Park are incredible human beings! The residents are well taken care of and (equally important) happy. From a medical point of view, the staff are 'exceptional' at caring for my patients, and they see to it that things are salubrious.
RCFEs or Assisted Living Facilities are community-based residential and caregiver arrangements available to elderly individuals who are in need of assistance in daily living activities. These facilities can be based in residential homes or be larger facilities specifically designed for this use. They are non-medical facilities, different from nursing homes or rehabilitation centers.
We invite you to call or email us if you have further questions or if you'd like to arrange a tour. From Highway 1 South: Take the Soledad Dr exit and turn right onto Munras Ave (towards the Del Monte Shopping Center). Fork left onto Cass St. Fork left onto Carmelo St (in front of Sunrise Facility).

Carmelo Park is a gem. Our family cannot thank Matt and his staff for all their hard work. My Dad has dementia and has lived here for over a year, and is happy living here. Prior to my Dad moving in, we visited several assisted living and nursing homes. Right away, when we walked in, Carmelo Park had a warm, homey feel to it. The same staff have worked here since my father has moved in. Even with dementia, he can freely come and go from his room to the communal social area, dining room, library, and can even go outdoors in their backyard for fresh air. They have plenty of activities to keep him

I am satisfied with the care my sister is getting at your facility.
The staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is light and comfortable. Any problems that I have heard of, have been taken care of quickly and without any trauma.
She would like someplace to get outside and walk a little, I hope to get her out more often.

I have been recommending this exceptional care home to families of seniors and the elderly who can no longer reside at home since 2014 when the Mazerik family purchased Carmelo Park Assisted Living. The trained, reliable and caring staff combined with the hands-on involvement of family members operating and managing Carmelo Park, you can rest easy and be assured that your loved one will be safe and well cared for.
