As a new patient, I was somewhat hesitant. But that quickly dissipated. From my first encounter with the receptionist to the nurse to the x-ray tech to doctor was phenomenal. Extremely professional yet Personable. I had a complete and comprehensive explanation of everything going on in my body. I was so impressed. I was made to feel comfortable yet cared for. This is truly next level orthopedic care. I highly recommend it.

This place has the best staff and attending to not only the patient’s needs but also request from the patient. I felt I needed to be seen sooner than the appt that was proved for me. With the new year, and the amount of patients they see on a daily basis, they made it a priority to help work and get me in sooner rather than later. The kept me in the loop and touched base with me almost daily. The staff is very professional, friendly and respectful. So far I am very impressed with Covington Orthopedics and the staff. I was able to get in on the same day that I requested an appointment and I was more than happy with the service that was provided! The nurse that greeted me was kind and knowledgeable and the doctor took the time to listen to my concerns and explained his findings to me in detail and I didn’t feel rushed! After losing a match with a couple of 500 lb bulls six years ago on my birthday , Dr. Darr replaced my hip as good as new. This year he replaced the knee on the same side, and the results speak for themselves, I'm still doing everything, and if anything else breaks (or wears out), I know where to go.

I have dealt with bad knees from a very young age in now at 55 years old I have severe arthritis in both knees. Although I got my quality of life back through pain management I knew it wasn't the route I want to go because of the medicine. After hearing about stem cell injections I checked out Dr. Kevin Darr. I have to say he is probably the best orthopedic doctor I have ever seen, and I've seen of you to say the least. He takes his time he explains everything and put you on a one-to-one basis. Truly a life saving doctor and second to none. I went through the stem cell injections on Friday

If you have gone here consider yourself lucky. Dr Darr is the BEST in the country as far as I am concerned! The other dr's in the offce are right up there with him! I have been a patient there for close to 5 years and find the dr's and office staff the best you can find in the state of Louisiana.
Dr Darr did my knee replacements and I couldn't be happier. I am forever grateful! Dr Darr is a kind and caring man.
