When my dear friend, Sister Sheila’s brother died in Ireland, she was not able to travel for the funeral. Some of her girlfriends wanted to send her flowers to The Mary and Joseph Retreat Center. I reached out to the local Green Hill florist, in Rancho Palos Verdes. Masi went above and beyond, creating a beautiful arrangement that sits in the tabernacle. Thank you, Masi, Sister Sheila and the nuns were able to enjoy this masterpiece for 2 weeks.

My family and I have been going to Green Hills Florist for more than 20 years. They’ve been there for us on Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, weddings and other special occasions over the years. The people at Green Hills Florist are amazing. I have been going there for years. They are kind, friendly, hardworking and very caring of your needs. Seven days a weeks rain or shine they are there. If you want a special flower arrangement they will make it for you quickly. The selection of flowers in the shop is incredible. I can not say enough good things about them. If I could give this place no stars I would do so. I ordered a standing spray online from Green Hills Florist for a family member's viewing for the morning after Christmas Day. Before completing my order online, I called the florist because I had a request on the colors of the flowers. The florist guaranteed me that they can do the standing spray with the colors I wanted with no problem, and advised me to complete the order online and write my request on the notes, so I did. Three hours later, Masi, the owner, called me to let me know they cannot do the standing spray with the flowers

Apologies for this very late review. I ordered flowers for a relatives funeral in March and had an issue with my credit card. The person I spoke to was extremely patient and understanding, calling me several times (I live in Canada) until everything was sorted out. Outstanding customer service. Thank you so much!!! I shopped around on different websites for a floral arrangement for my Auntie. This had to be very special, as she was a delightful lovely woman! Greenhills florist did an outstanding job of putting together this lovely easel arrangement! It looked exactly to the picture and the flowers were fresh and of high-quality. It's unfortunate that such a poorly run florist is at a cemetery of all places! Today I stopped in to get a sponge block to use for my flower vases at the grave site. I have come in 5-6 times for this and have always been charged 2 dollars plus tax. Today a guy (Asian man who seems to be the owner) was there that I have never seen before and said that will be 5 dollars! Now although that is way overpriced, that wasn't my issue at all. Few things: It's the fact that I have been paying the same price the past few months then suddenly he just names a new price. Consistency in a business

I live out of town and wanted to get some flowers for our grandmother's memorial service. Since I didn't know the details of the place I called for some recommendations and suggestions. I spoke with Masi and he not only helped me make my selection he provided some details. (The service was at Green Hills cemetery.) He assured me he would take care of it from there and that he did! Over promise and under serve is their motto. I paid premium for the casket spray, standing spray and a vase of mums. I described and showed the type of design I wanted and they under delivered in every way while their manager promised that their designers are "amazing." They literally placed flowers in a vase without any decoration or design. I could have done a better job. Never again will I order flowers for anyone or any event. Just so disappointed and I paid full premium for the flower arrangements.

Im not one to usually leave reviews, but I think Masi deserves credit. Spoke with him on the phone for a last minute arrangement for a funeral service, and he was very friendly and professional. He was spot on, got all the relevant details, and offered to take care of a tasteful arrangement. I felt very assured that my relatives would be pleased in this difficult time.

Just got off the phone with Masi and he was super nice and easy-going. Answered all my questions and got my order in time. Ordered online around 8'o clock yesterday and saw they do next day delivery which is perfect because there's a viewing today scheduled at 2pm. I called this morning because I wanted to be sure all the information was correct and that the flowers would be delivered on time. He confirmed that it was and I was suppose to get a confirmation email of when it actually delivered. This definitely gives me reassurance and one thing less to worry about through this time of

I have a few relatives who are 'resting' at Green Hills Cemetary, so, I've frequently found the need to utilize the Green Hills Florist. Truth be told, I'd use them to get flowers for any occasion, be it at the cemetary, or at home. The staff is all friendly, and quick to help. They have a nice/fresh selection of flowers and other grave side 'things.' On my most recent trip we got roses and flags for Veterans Day. The pricing is fair, you can even tell the staff you have a budget of X, and they will help you design your arrangement.

Most unique flowers and gifts in the whole california!!!
I come here for unique gifts for all times for last 20 years. The owners go to different cities and states tradeshows to hand pick special items... u will not be dissapointed. Everone I got the flowers and gifts for have always raved about where I get all these wonderful things for them.

Needed some flowers for my mom's birthday (she's very much alive). This place is the closest to me and was Yelped pretty well.
Spacious, upbeat and nicely merchandised with a large selection. Only a few clues that it's within a cemetery. Since Green Hills does good business, it seems like the inventory turns quickly and generally remains fresh. They have a cheapie little bouquet for $5 and another for $12 right by the door, if needed. I went with five tiger lilies at $3 each. So I would say the price is competitive, but hardly the cheapest.
