Recipes I'm into right now?! I made this on Saturday night while the kids were out having a ball at homecoming, and let me tell you, there was nothing left. We practically licked the plate clean. This recipe is tangy, sweet, herby, salty and full of tummy warming fall flavors. We've got everything you need to whip up this whipped feta!
Stop by and see us soon. Gin Lane 1751 Cucumber, Watermelon, and Mint gin is so fun and funky and super delicious. It seems like a weird combo, we know, but you really have to try it. It's not sweet, it's straight gin, but the flavors go surprisingly well with the classic juniper of a dry gin. Stop by either store, grab a bottle and sip it over ice, with tonic or make it spritzer style with a splash of bubbly water.

Even though the last package of chives I needed for my holiday cooking had just been sold to another customer, everything else was fantastic. They even had the exact soda (Cherry Coke Zero) I have been looking for everywhere! Wonderful selection of live Christmas trees and wreaths. I’ll definitely be stopping back in to the local Harbor Greens store this holiday season and beyond.

A great place to stop in for produce, but:
1) They don't enforce the mask mandate. I didn't hear anything at all said to a customer without a mask and I was there from when she entered to when she checked out. So if this matters to you, you're taking your chances by coming here. The employees are nice and they wear masks.
2) Prices on nonproduce items (and even some produce) are really high. I'm talking over $7 for a tub of Earth Balance margarine high.

I love this local store! Great produce, great products and meat counter/deli. I also really love the staff. There is someone who has been working the register the last few times I have gone and I am always so impressed with how personable and genuinely nice they are. Kody is great and deserves some kudos!

This is a great little local store! It has fresh produce, deli, a hot case with cafe foods, a place to sit and eat, alcohol, a gift area, and more!
It can be a little pricey with some items, but the variety of fresh, local, and organic produce is unmatched by big chains. It has good atmosphere as well, and is overall a very pleasant place to shop.

I haven't done much shopping here but I don't think it's much different than the other higher end markets. What I do love about this place though, are their starter vegetable and herb plants you can buy. I've purchased 3 tomato plants at the start of summer, and all three are doing really well. Bought lettuce, and some herbs and also are healthy and doing well!

They have a really great selection and some cool stuff you can't find many other places! The veggies looked awesome! The staff was really friendly! The isle are really narrow and they had so many employees with restocking at once it's almost like impossible to shop with a shopping cart and get around. I know this is really pathetic but I had to leave in the middle of my shopping because I wasn't able to get down any isle because of all the employees stocking and not giving customers any room kind of gave me an anxiety attack and just had to get out of there! : ( so if anyone is

This place makes me miss the corner fresh markets of New York City. The local options, personal interactions with employees and overall feel of Harbor Greens is just so quaint. I love that it's so one-stop-shop. Their dinner options are fantastic. Whether you're looking for unique pizzas, fresh made sandwiches, or a protein prepped to take home and cook they have it! I love the sandwiches they come up with, or if you're just looking for a snack while you shop, the premade selections they have in the cooler display are wonderful. The pizzas are enormous and an incredible value. Plus

A great unique grocery store. We love their meat counter - marinated teriyaki hanger steaks, arctic char (occasionally), chicken, etc. The deli counter has the best selection of delicious salads locally. They also have great sliced deli meats at reasonable prices. Vegetable section is terrific also. We always get hum baos from the deli, heated up, to enjoy on the way home. They can certainly hold their own against Whole Foods, just down the street.

Harbor Greens is owned and operated by two local families and has two locations: one in Gig Harbor and the other in University Place. This review is for the University Place location.
This little gem of a grocery store covers all the basics you might need. The real gem is the meat and sea food department. The butchers are knowledgeable and take a pride in offering ethically raised and harvested products.
Produce is fresh and reasonably priced. Customer service is outstanding!

What a cute store! They have a nice middle-of-the-road selection for people who might shop at other local produce-heavy markets and natural markets. There's more here than you'll find at a produce-only place and less than a conventional grocery store, hitting the sweet spot for a mid-week pick up to make dinner a little less boring. A nice selection of seasonal produce, a meat counter with a few unusual cuts at a time to go with the standard stuff, and a pretty decent cheese selection.
Some later hours might be nice and the area around the registers is a tad crowded. Worth a stop!

I went there for the first time today because a friend told me that they have a spot with discounted produce. I'm a huge fan of cutting down food waste. I did a couple of laps around the store to browse and try and find this place of which my friend spoke. I sampled some cheese and thought, eh... this is like any other small fancy shop. If you can afford to shop here I'm sure it's nice.
The local eggs were reasonably priced so I picked up a carton. I just so happened to walk back into the produce section when the guy was putting stuff on the "ugly shelf". Cool. So basically
