Services
Our story started in 2009 with 1100 grapevines on 2 1/2 acres. We took those vines and turned them into over 21,000 lbs. of grapes each summer, and over 9,000 bottles of wine each year. Our family then spent almost two years restoring a historic building on Main Street in Mount Vernon, Iowa, to become our winery and tasting room.

Nice family owned winery with local craft beer. Very friendly atmosphere and rustic chic decor. You can buy snacks ie. Popcorn, nuts and savory nibbles to go along with your beverage of choice. Assorted seasonal home decor and gift items for sale upstairs and social seating downstairs. Cozy outdoor patio in the rear! Stop in with your friends

2nd time stopping in; first time staying to enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on my wine! This was a perfect date night spot - calm, peaceful, and delectable wines! My husband was able to enjoy draft beer - in which there was a "tap-takeover." We loved the ability to order from any restaurant- we ended up getting food from Big's bbq and enjoyed it on the back patio. I loved their St. Pepin white wine - perfect for warm summer evenings! What a fun place to catch up with some friends! Met my sis-in-laws for an evening away and Glyn Mawr certainly didn't disappoint. We sampled a few of our favorites and settled on our typical go-to's. I decided to go with a slushy, despite the frigid temps outside. We also chose to sit in the basement, an intimate cellar-esque vibe. The current owners did a beautiful job renovating the space.
There are some local snacky foods to munch on. There is not a "kitchen" to order from, but you are welcome to order from neighboring restaurants, many which will deliver to you.

Amazing place!!!! Smells so good at the front door. Absolutely beautiful shop!! Downstairs is a fun funky cool spot. We just stumbled on this jem after walking around an art fair with our daughter. Amazing family & amazing singer. Can’t wait to return with my husband for date night you must stop in with or without children doesn’t matter. So humble & kind

Always looking to try new places, this one appeared on my radar. A small store front on main street Mt. Vernon, it's a nice addition to the downtown. They have wine, antiques. Some local beers-in cans, and an assortment of snacks and salads. The ambiance is somewhat like walking into grandma's house. Comfortable and cozy. They do have a patio that was not an option on The day hi visited due to the weather and I understand they have a lower level available for events.
