As part of this project, Nordic replaced two 30+ year old Kewanee boilers with two highly-efficient ATH KN Series boilers; separated the domestic hot water and building heat systems into two new AO Smith domestic water heaters to provide energy savings, while maintaining better temperature control throughout the facility; and replacement of two base-mounted pumps with three Grundfos Magna3 modulating pumps to improve efficiency and control of each building wing.
