Pier Gifts opened more than 30 years ago, just a stone's throw from the beautiful and iconic Pismo Beach Pier. Over the past few decades, our tiny town has become a hotspot destination for tourists and day-trippers looking to enjoy fun in the sun and the beauty of the California surf. All the while, we've hummed right along, providing visitors with a huge selection of souvenirs.
I visited the shop with 10 minutes until closing. Instead of rushing me out, staff helped me find what I was looking for. When the lady that was helping me found out I was from Oregon, we had a great conversation. They have the usual touristy stuff, magnets, key chains, shot glasses, stickers, clothes, etc.
There's nothing like time spent in beautiful Pismo Beach, CA. The woman in here was amazing we bought an unbreakable toy dragon that has lasted pretty long, but finally broke. Not going to lie my 2 year old walked into the store and knocked down their entire display of key chains. The woman inside was so graceful and kind I wanted to get something. This dragon has lasted longer than most toys. We'll be coming back when we vacation again but for those who read this with young children the dragon is not unbreakable lol

I stopped in for a postcard and some sweatpants since it was way colder than I expected. They didn't have my size on the rack but the girl working offered to check in the back for me and found the exact size and color I wanted! Really appreciated that. Also liked that they sold stamps here so I could mail out my postcards from the other stops on my road trip. Everything was a great price. The sweatpants are great quality and super soft inside for only $20!!

Would definitely visit again.

When my family and I were waiting outside of the store for about 10 mins because of the maximum capacity, the sales associate avoided us. After leaving the store we then saw the same associate giving customers that were waiting in line for approx. 3 minutes being given coupons for the restaurant across the street. Then what seemed to be the owner followed me around as soon as she saw me and then made sure I knew she was following me.

TERRIBLE ! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE ! The women with slicked back bun who is older then sand is rude ! My 3 kids, husband and I were waiting outside for 10 minutes before the place opened because my children were excited to buy souvenirs for their grandmother. She opened the door placed the mat down and said okay. No welcome. My son also picked up a stuffed shark and was walking around the store with it because HE WANTED IT AND WE WERE GOING TO BUY IT FOR HIM ! He is not a baby carrying around a stuffed animal because he sees it and wants it. HE IS TEN YEARS OLD ! He is a big kid. The woman

Best gift shop in Pismo!! Whether you have $5 or $500 they have something for you. I got an octopus wine decanter that holds the wine glasses in its tentacles. Beautiful and very reasonably priced. I am a Customer Service Instructor so I tend to expect more than most in this regard and even though it was very busy, everyone that helped me was excellent. Nikki in particular was very welcoming and helpful. Even when an employee caught a mother using her baby stroller to shoplift they were kind and cordial when asking her to leave. That takes considerable tact!

Souvenirs ok, but older woman at cash register asked where we were from without any prodding, and then insulted the city (Los angeles) and then went off on a long harangue about the cow town she grew up in and how it was great--not a smart way to ingratiate yourself to customers (most of whom are probably from sf or la as this is not a global destination by any stretch--but a small beach town) and a little backward thinking...

Yes, I concur with the other yelper that a sales person was extremely rude. She stared at us acting as if we were going to steal something. I should have gotten her name - older white thinner of the two ladies. I had my great-nephew there who has a beautiful darker complexion and the lady glared at him like he was different - in a not so good way. I did end up buying a couple of gifts for the kids and the same sales person did not even thank us for coming in and spending our money. I guess you can't expect great service everywhere. I simply think that people need to be more open and

Stopped in to this awesome gift shop for a Pismo souvenir on my way home from fighting a fire in San Luis Obispo. The staff treated me so well! Very welcoming and friendly. Great items to choose from. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be stopping in again if I ever make my way back up. Thank you ladies!

This little shop in Pismo Beach, CA is located beside the famous Splash Cafe. They advertise that they carry beach & nautical delights, jewelry, apparel, souvenirs, beach gear, and nautical decor. That just about sums it all up.
We just came in to add a magnet to our collection. It was decently priced. Service was okay. Shop was neat and organized.

The staff here was friendly.
They had good sales on souvenirs, got a shot glass for $3 and a seashell for $3.
They have a lot of cute stuff there. They have a necklace, bracelet, and keychain locket where you can add charms to. I loved it but they cost $18-23 and the charms are $5 for each one.
Only thing I wish they had more of was picture frames, more variety w Pismo beach on it.
