Rites Of Passage
If you or someone close to you is suffering with trauma, mental or emotional health issues, we are here to help. Our rural facility in Western Colorado is a supportive and safe place to heal and recover. We offer integrated therapies and psychiatry that is rooted in a farm-living environment. Animals, gardens and majestic mountain scenery support a personalized therapy program that leads to lasting recovery.

Trauma, PTSD, mental health, dual diagnosis, substance issues, eating disorders, and failure to launch issues are some areas that we treat. With an innovative whole-person approach our program teaches each person to find and practice new ways of bringing the mind, body, and spirit to an optimal balance.
Services
Our mission is to help each client live a happy, healthy, and productive life, whatever that might mean to them; to live a life that is successful for them and the world around them. The Rites of Passage programs gives clients life skills that will carry beyond treatment into their everyday activities.
We are in-network with three insurance groups: Multiplan, Medcost Providers and Three Rivers Provider Network. If you have a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plan with out-of-network benefits, we can send you a Verification of Benefits form so we can do a benefits check to verify if we can work with your insurance.
Anyone who is suffering from debilitative mental health issues, trauma, addiction, or burnout can benefit from treatment if they are willing to engage and want to work on building a healthier life. This is a residential full-therapy program that is available to anyone who can travel to and live at our facility in western Colorado.
Here, clientele will slow down on the farm and get into the rhythm of working with the animals, horses, goats, ducks, geese, therapy dogs and cats as well as each other and with staff. This helps the rhythms of their bodies to reset and come back into balance from what was usually a very unhealthy lifestyle that they were living previously.
For those who don't need a psychiatrist but want a safe living environment and to take advantage of a customized therapy plan. Transitional living is for those who may have been hospitalized or who have completed a residential program and want continued help. The Transitional Living Program is customized for the individual using the same components and therapies that make up our other programs.

Wish I could give it less than 1 star. Abusive and manipulative staff who harm the patients and the animals. They couldn’t care less about the patients. Living conditions are nasty and they underfeed people. NEVER go here.
