Services
During John's career as a Boeing Co. executive, he enjoyed restoring classic wooden boats. He restored several Century and Chris Craft run-abouts to operating and near-show condition. As with this Thea Foss row boat, he often had to repair and replace wooden parts. Acquiring wood, and supplies for these boats required numerous trips to Seattle from his home on Lake Tapps.
We carry top brands, have many common products available in-store, and can order anything from many woodworkering manufactures. Below is a list of our preferred vendors and manufactures. SuperMax Tools specializes in drum and brush sanders for the woodworking and metalworking industries.
You will find some of the most rare and desirable premium woods for woodcarving and woodworking. We are not a commercial home repair store that provides common building materials. Our woods are specific to woodworking and woodcarving. These woods are picked for their finishes, textures, and applications.
We carry a full line of Flex cut carving tools and have many common woodworking tools. We stock most of the common woodworking tools and some specialty tools and accessories. We carry top brands and manufactures in the industry. If there's a tool we don't have ask us, and we will see if we can get it or direct you to a resource where you can find it.
Every tool is assembled, tested, and inspected prior to sale. We pride ourselves in ensuring our customers' expectations are meet or exceeded with the shop tools purchased from us. This service is included in the cost of our tools. Only under special circumstances will we sell a tool without tool assembly.

I’ll start by saying I am one year into building my custom log and Timber framing business and have been working with second hand and worn out tools. Every time I sell a job I invest approximately 10% into updating tools and equipment. I came in to spend around $2000-3000 on some things that we desperately needed.
Upon entering there was a very surly old hag that started lecturing me on mask mandates. I tried to explain that I have a medical exemption (I was in a house fire and now have COPD from smoke inhalation and am unable to breathe under restrictions) which she refused to even try to listen

I can't say enough good things about this place. Friendly, expert staff eager to help. Truly your one-stop shop for all of your woodworking needs. From raw hardwood material selection to General Finishes products, tools, and everything else in between. I live in Lacey and often find myself making the 40 minute drive to this store because I don't want to wait for delivery by mail from businesses online. Large showroom floor space on par with industry standard.

Excellent, family owned shop. Everyone who works here is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you find what you are looking for. And rest assured, they'll have what you are looking for when it comes to wood working. There's a wide variety of wood, even exotics. Pricing is pretty good too. Tons and tons of finishes, adhesives, tools, etc. Sometimes I like to look at what they have and get inspiration. Highly recommend stopping here before going to a big box store. Support local!
