Hydrofracturing, also known as hydrofracking, hyrdofracting, or 'fracking, ' is a method used by groundwater professionals to develop and rehabilitate wells that are not providing enough water. The Hydrofracture procedure involves lowering a borehole packer into a water well, expanding it below the casing/static level and above the fracture system.
Drilling begins by first installing casing, steel pipe that extends from approximately one foot above the final grade, to at least ten feet into the ledge or bedrock, depending upon the site. This creates a seal that minimizes the chance that surface water will contaminate the groundwater supply. In Connecticut, most water wells require between 40' and 120' of casing.
Geothermal energy is energy from the natural heat of the earth. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, "Geothermal energy is a clean source of renewable energy that harnesses heat from the earth for heating applications and electricity generation."

The U.S. Government regards geothermal energy as such an important resource that U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu has dedicated nearly $50 million from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act to advance commercial deployment of geothermal heat pumps!Geothermal energy can be used to heat and cool any building of any size.

My son & I are both interested in a Geothermal installation so when I saw them drive into my neighborhood, I took notice. Later in the day when they left, they ran over my corner with the giant truck .. I know they DO need to use both lanes on the road they are pulling out into, but driver got tired of waiting (2 min) and decided to flatten my corner instead. I say its mine because I am the only one who will fix it now. Not very considerate.

Excellent company. I had a leak in my well pipe in the basement and they immediately replied and fixed the problem.

Great company. Explained everything and did a fantastic job. Had my well pump replaced and the system fixed, price for the job was significantly better than another quote I got.
A year after, the new pump I had installed died, apparently was faulty. Wragg came and installed a new one the next day, no charge, no hassle.
Got to love a company that stands behind their work!! Highly recommended.
